It's a two bedroom apartment with a deep soak HYDROTHERAPY whirlpool tub (for aching tourist feet), a fully equipped kitchen with all supplies to prepare family meals, a small living room. The master bedroom has a Queen size bed. The East bedroom has two full sized beds with lots and lots of morning sunlight. WIFI, Satellite TV, DVD player in eah bedroom. We were a party of 6 (2 adults & 4 boys)who stayed at Winston's apartment for a week at the start of our holiday and again for 1 night before returning to South Africa: that last night was like coming home to a safe haven after 3 weeks in Orlando and the Bahamas! This apartment in Queens is very reasonably priced, situated in a safe neigbourhood and just a short walk from the nearest subway station, which by the way takes you directly past Central Park, via downtown, to the north of Manhattan (A line). The apartment is outside the chaos of the big city and it offers a suburban insight one rarely experiences at large inner city establsihments. A memorable experience indeed! The apartment is small ,but brilliant as a springboard to discover NY and have a safe place to crash at night. Despite it's size, it's well laid out and can accommodate 6 people on 3 proper double beds (thus, no backbreaking thin mattress sleeper couches!). It has al the amenities you would expect from a self catering apartment (all fully functional) and is well stocked. The place is exceptionally clean and occupant friendly. Best thing about this apartment though is the host and his family. I've had the fortune to travel the world and nowhere have I been met with such a positive attitude, courtesy and willingness to help as experienced here. Thanks, Winston. I'm so glad that I found this apartment when I was looking for a place for my family to stay during our visit to NYC. It was large enough for my two teenage sons who like to spread out and they loved the TV in their room! The whirlpool bath saved my legs after we had walked all day. And the towels were the best we've ever had away from home. It is very convenient to the subway which we used a lot. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. There's a laundry about 3 or 4 blocks away that we used
