This beautiful newly-renovated two-bedroom condo is located only 5 minutes walk from the Plaza and is central to all activities in town including the Rail Yard, Canyon Road, and a short drive to Hyde Park Road which leads to the Ski Basin.

The condo is situated inside a private compound with no drive through traffic. There are two off street parking spots available to you directly in front of the house.

Inside you can enjoy the traditional New Mexico charm of the diamond plaster walls and the kiva fireplace. The art collection that hangs throughout the house is a creative mixture of antiques and contemporary art by local artists. A large sectional sofa surrounds the kiva fire place in the living room to socialize or relax around. There is a writing desk off to the side to work on.

The kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, and all the tools needed to prepare a meal for friends and family. From the kitchen door you enter to the private yard surrounded by coyote fence and a large elm tree. The yard has patio furniture and a bbq gas grill for outside entertaining.

The master-bedroom has a custom made Cal-King bed with an extremely comfortable mattress system modeled after the Montage Hotel and is accompanied with luxury linens. The guest bedroom has a comfortable full size bed with an antique vanity. The bathroom is new with an antique vanity and a deep soaking tub.

About Bobbi

Our names are Alexis (him), Bobbi (her), and Brownie (our dog).

We are film industry professionals who call both Brooklyn and Santa Fe our homes.

Our goal was to make a clean, comfortable, stylish, and of course, pet friendly home

for ourselves and others to enjoy while on vacation.

Bobbi purchased this condo in 2007
Why Bobbi chose Santa Fe

We love Santa Fe and need a home base to get our green chili fix. We chose South Capitol because we wanted to be downtown and walking distance to The Plaza and Canyon Road.

This vacation condo provided everything we needed for a wonderful week long stay in Santa Fe. It is well maintained with all needed appliances and conveniences in a lovely residential neighborhood, plus a comfortable walk/quick ride to the center of Santa Fe. We will definitely return.

ideal downtown Santa Fe location

This condo was quiet and close enough to downtown that we did not have to rent a car, which made for a very laid-back vacation. We rented bikes at Melo Velo, which is also walking distance. A five-minute walk brought us to Kaune's, locally owned grocery with everything, including good wine selection. We even walked to the downtown Sandia Shuttle location to catch the van back to ABQ airport. Owner Bobbi was friendly and helpful both times I called her with questions.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Tourists without a Car

This lovely condo is an excellent option for art lovers, readers, writers, and people who love to cook. Nicely furnished and thoughtfully decorated, the condo welcoming and conveniently located minutes from the plaza. The kitchen includes a professional stove and an assortment of cookbooks, and the bedroom is well stocked with an array of books including fiction, memoir and art books. A find.

We stayed in this lovely casita for 10 days and felt at home from the very first minute. Great location, generous amenities, incredible DVD and CD collection, lots of personal touches, and spotless clean! My husband and I stayed here for a week. This lovely casita is just as it appears in the pictures - very attractive, modern and spotlessly clean. Lots of space for two people (or even another couple). The condo/casita had everything we needed. The location couldn't have been better, about a 10 minute walk to the Plaza and all the great Santa Fe restaurants (especially our favourites, Bistro Galisteo and Saveur). It was the perfect base from which to explore Santa Fe. The king size bed was so comfortable.

Bobbi was very helpful from our first inquiry. We definitely hope to go back and would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone wanting a well located home away from home while they explore the wonderful city of Santa Fe.
