Kailua Vacation Rental house

This suite was spacious and comfortable. It has everything we needed. It was nice having a full kitchen altho we didn't cook too often. We bbq'd once and sat on the small outside lanai area, altho we also could have sat under the trees.

There were 3 of us, so I had the comfortable queen bed in 1 bedroom, 1 had the full futon couch/bed in the other bedroom and 1 had the other full futon couch/bed in the living room. There were 2 TV's, 1 in the living room and 1 in the 2nd bedroom when we wanted to watch different shows. There were some movies and games/cards.

It was very clean and well maintained--the owner asked for any thing that needed attention so they could do it right away, but everything worked well. The owner works so wasn't home during the day, but we asked for some tips and ideas which they were very helpful and friendly with assisting us. They even gave us some pineapple they bought at the Thursday morning (9-10am) farmer's market, 2 blocks from the house....we went too and bought some local fruit and vegetables.

We walked to the famous beach, only a nice leisurely 5 min. walk and ate some shaved ice, at Island Snow on the way back home. We ate at Buzz's steak house where Pres. Clinton ate--only a block away from the beach. They have a great salad bar w/ bread for only about $10!

We played some tennis at the courts, 3 blocks away and 1 person swam laps in the public olympic pool near the courts.
We bought some souvenirs at Alii Stained Glass by Zippy's fast food restaurant (24 hrs). We loved Assaggio's (Italian)and Formaggio's wine restaurant (pricier)-but we were celebrating, and the food was superb!.

We rented kayak near Island Snow, on the way to the beach and had soo much fun. This was a great place for convenience.
