Property is located on Miles Pond, North Concord, Vermont. Relax by the water while watching the loons, ducks, beaver and occasional moose feeding in the pond. Fully furnished cottage, living room with recliner-sofa and 2 chairs, TV with VCR and DVD player. Large screened-in porch the whole length of the cottage, with round table and chairs as well as 2 lounge chairs. Great location for outdoor activities :hiking, swimming, boating, fishing. Day trips to many attractions such as Santa's Village, Attitash, Canon Mountain, and more. Located between St-Johnsbury, VT and Littleton, NH where you will find many restaurants and shops and local attractions.

Perfect for quiet vacation

I spent two weeks in the cabin and had a wonderful time swimming, boating, cooking, and reading. The screened-in porch was perfect for meals and sitting with a book, and there are plenty of excellent hikes within an hour's drive. I'd recommend this place to anyone who wants to get away from phone and email and just relax.

Quiet Retreat

We can't say enough good things about our stay at this cottage on Miles Pond. It was the perfect setting for a quiet retreat. The cottage was very clean, homey and comfortable. It was surrounded by beautiful views and lots of wildlife. We enjoyed watching a family of loons, a beaver, otters, ducks and even a moose! The wild birds and wildflowers were wonderful. We enjoyed floating around the pond in the boats that were provided, where my husband caught and released some good-sized fish. Within a short drive, we found several nice diners, a great library, and several really nice book stores. There are also several farm markets in the area where we purchased fresh vegetables and fruit. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We left feeling rested and refreshed, and hope to return again next summer. We would highly recommend the cottage as a vacation retreat for couples and/or families.
