Built in 1806, and recently restored to a luxury standard. The Harbour Masters House sleeps up to 14 people, with all bedrooms ensuite. Smaller parties are also catered for at a reduction. Fishing, boating, pubs and facilities all within 50 meters. Boats for hire, drying room, bait and bait shed available. Private car park, garden, balcony, oil fired central heating, open turf fires and all modern conveniences. TV in all rooms. Bord Failte 4 star approved.
Tea and coffee making facilities are avilable in all bedrooms. Linen, towels and dressing gown and slippers provdied.
There is a large dining room situated at the back of the property over looking the manicured gardens. It has seating available for 14+ people. There is a large kitchen in the basement of the property and a small kitchenette beside the dining room.
There are 2 large sitting rooms in the house. One in the basement and one on the first floor.
A large balcony overlooks the garden to the rear and it has seating.

The Harbour masters house is a Georgian house built in 1806, located right on the waterfront of the Grand Canal and just metres from the River Shannon. In the village of Shannon Harbour there is a children’s playground and many fishing spots, a shop and a traditional pub which has many music sessions. The grounds of the house itself has a large landscaped walled-in garden. You can take daily strolls to the river, take a picnic and soak up the atmosphere or choose to dangle a line at the fish and catch your own dinner!
