Photos and Description of the Taos vacation house rental 3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths - sleeps 6

This 2400 Sq. Ft. adobe home has three bedrooms, each separate from the others for the privacy adults prefer. Our priorities when furnishing our home were good mattresses, soft sheets and good reading lights. Our guests sleep 'like babies' here and we have several cozy reading places. We added a 450 Sq. Ft. Dining Room and sitting area with a gas fireplace. The gray stucco showing in the outside picture is 'curing' before the color coat is added next year. We like to cook so we equipped the kitchen for a wide range of cooking and baking supplies. The cabinets are hand crafted and the new stone counter tops are a beautiful green slate with spectacular gray and white grain. The teak dining table easily seats eight. The kitchen and dining area receive lovely morning light through a skylight and a French door to a stone patio. Our home is fenced in with off street parking as well as a gated parking area and a small, fenced in back yard.

We stayed here for a month July-Aug 2009. It was a nice walk to the plaza and to the back entrance of Kit Carson Park. We were also able to walk to many restaurants and the grocery store. Although, if you have a stroller, one with big tires would be recommended for Taos in general.

The house is very nice, clean and well-stocked with a small fenced in back yard.

Everything went smoothly, from arrival to departure and all communication with owner.

We would recommend it to friends.

204 Las Cruces was the perfect location for 3 ski
instructors (2 men/1 woman) doing a professional
certification at the Ski Valley to relax at the end of
very busy days. The house is well-zoned so that 3
different parties can easily co-exist. The living
areas are comfortable and the kitchen is very well
equipped. It is an easy walk to the plaza and
shopping and about a 25 minute drive to the Ski
Valley. I look forward to coming back in the
summer to go mountain biking. It's also a great
value!
