PORTOFINO TOWER 5, 18TH FLOOR UNOBSTUCTED VIEWS! BEAUTIFUL SUNSETS!!!

We'd never rented a place before when we went on vacation, so I was a little nervous. The pressure is on when you're the one planning Spring Break for your family after a cold winter in Wisconsin. From the time I spoke to Bud for the very first time to his kind handwritten Thank You note sent with our security deposit check, he was nothing but professional, informative, and very genuine.

We had a wonderful week at Bud's place. The moment we walked in the doors, the view took our breath away and the condo was exactly as pictured on the site. It was clean, comfortable and relaxing. While we went out for a few meals, it was difficult to leave the stunning sunsets while having an evening cocktail on the balcony!

We bought fresh fish at Joe Pattis and the Publix in Gulf Breeze great. The Blue Angels practice session was also well worth the trip.

Peg Leg Pete's and Flounders were also great places for seafood and cold beverages. Both have playgrounds for kids to keep busy while you sit back and enjoy some music.

My husband's parents couldn't bear to leave...so being retired, they talked with May and arranged to stay just one more night!

Thanks, Bud, for a great place to stay with my family and the time you took to talk and email with me. What a kind host!

We had a fabulous time at Portofino. We stayed in unit 1802 from March 31 to April 8, 2012. Prior to arriving, we talked regular via email with the owner. Bud was friendly, accommodating and helpful. Before we even arrived, we felt at home. Check-in was smoothly explained by the owner, and arrival was as easy as explained. When we opened the doors to the unit, we were amazed. What a view!!! Waking up every morning to the crashing waves of the Gulf was a real treat. We even slept with the sliding door open, and you could hear the waves crashing on the beach. The crowd noise was minimal, and it felt like a luxurious getaway. The unit was clean, well-appointed and beautiful. We enjoyed the patio grill, outdoor eating space, as well as the second bedroom during our son's weekend visit. Portofino as a whole is a beautiful resort -- the Spa and Lifestyle Center are top notch. Just watch out if you order too many poolside piña coladas. In the end, we had a phenomenal time, thanks in large part to the owner, his hospitality, his beautiful property and the pristine beaches of Pensacola Beach. We're already planning our return trip and can't wait to get back.

We had a fabulous time at Portofino unit 1805. The view was the one of the most spectacular that we have ever had. I enjoyed the access of both the gulf and bay. The resort is very clean and family oriented. I was traveling without my husband and I felt so comfortable and safe being alone with my son and his friend. The unit was beautiful and had all the comforts of home. We had a great time and we will definately be back as soon as we can. Thanks for the vacation!!
