Great family holiday

This was the location of our first family holiday in Portugal and we couldn't have made a better choice.
The Villa was spacious, clean and well equipped. The facility of a separate apartment on the lower floor is good and could be used by say grand parents who want to come along on a family holiday but want their own space too, and though can be accessed through the main villa it has its own entrance, lounge, bedroom, kitchen/diner and bathroom.
The relaxing location was great offering peace and quite, with views across the valley and the lake below, as well as the sea in the distance.
The large garden with pool offered a secure and private area for our children to play and we made use of the BBQ, which is conveniently positioned just across from the dining area in the conservatory.
The owners were helpful and friendly, and being new to the area we were grateful for their advice and broad knowledge of the area and the Algarve in general.
We enjoyed days out to the lovely beaches at Arrifana and Monte Clerigo, which are both easy to get to and well sign posted from Vale Da Telha.
Locally O Sargo at Monte Clerigo is a small restaurant offering good food and value for money, as is Primavera in Aljezur.
We ventured further to the Zoo at Lagos and Zoomarine near Albufeira. The Zoo is small and offers a relaxed day out in lovely surroundings, with a nice restaurant next door. Where as Zoomarine felt at times overcrowded.
