4 bedrooms, 1 full & 1/2 bath, & outdoor hot shower, sleeps 10+

This is a quaint beach cottage much larger on the inside than it seems from the outside. There are 4 large bedrooms. 2 Bdrms upstairs with 4 twin beds and 4 trundles. The 4 twin beds can be converted to 2 king beds at your request. Two bedrooms downstairs set up for adults with king size beds. The living room and kitchen are knotty pine and the bedrooms are bright and cheery. Water views from the living room, front bedroom and sky lights. Living room has a cozy fireplace for cool summer nights and full size pull-out couch. Outdoor patio with plenty of furniture and grill. Call or e-mail any questions.

Homeowner managed: This house is managed and rented by the homeowners Brian & Lisa, not a rental agency. All communication is direct with the homeowner. We live nearby and are very responsive to our customers' needs. We ask our renters to leave the house clean as they received it. Any necessary cleaning by us shall be deducted from your security deposit. You will notice the many personal touches, beach theme and attention to detail throughout our home.

Other places to explore and beach info: : Scarborough is a state operated beach with rolling surf, bath house and concession stand. The beach is sandy (not rocky) with covered pavilions and some picnic tables and has a very large mowed grassy area for fun. The beach is a 3 minute walk from the house and you have a view of the ocean from the front porch of the house. Most nights you can hear the waves from the bedrooms.

Wickford Village is about 20 minutes away and is a quaint town with marina, shops and restaurants. Watch Hill is about 30 minutes away, has an antique carousel, shops and restaurants. Roger Williams Zoo in Providence is about 30 minutes away. Newport, Bristol, Tiverton, Little Compton have many shops, restaurants. Visit Sakonnet Vineyards/Winery along the way.

Our Desano Dr home is one of the closest properties you can rent to walk to Scarborough Beach. This quintessential beach cottage with water views of Scarborough beach is the perfect place to relax after a day of surf and sand. 3 minute walk to Scarborough beach, 1/4 mile to restaurants and pizza parlor. Easy bike ride to Galilee and Block Island Ferri and Point Judith Light House. Plenty of restaurants, seafood and beaches nearby. Minutes to Narragansett Pier area and Main St. Wakefield. Newport is only a half hour away, Fox Woods is 45 minutes away. Great surfing and beachcombing and fishing all along the shore. Kids will enjoy the beach, miniature golf, bumper boats, go carts and many summer activities nearby.

We truly enjoyed our stay in this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed to make us feel comfortable and very much at home. Lisa and Brian were very friendly, helpful, hospitable. The cottage was immaculate throughout. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay in this area. Lovely views, quiet neighborhood and nice neighbors, too!

This cottage will always be special to me for many reasons and our time there has had such a impact that we hope to move to the area soon!

Fantastic water views!

I spent a very relaxing Thanksgiving week in Narragansett this year. The water views were fantastic from the house. The house is easy to get to and convenient to shopping areas without being too urban. Although the weather was uncooperative (it rained a lot), it wasn't so bad that I couldn't enjoy a daily walk on the beach. The house was exceptionally clean in addition to being very well-equipped. They even have a good selection of reading materials just in case you forget yours. The landlord is close by if you need anything but not so close as to be intrusive. Lisa was very helpful and responded to my questions quickly. I would definitely love to visit again.

We stayed with another couple for a fall weekend. The house is cozy, full of all the things we needed, and we had a great time! The owners are so friendly and nice - we would highly recommend this house for a great time in the summer or winter.
When we walked in it was cold and then quickly found the thermostat that warmed up the house in no time. This was SO much fun - we will do it again - at this same house!!!

We went to Spain for dinner and had a perfect meal - worth the trip.
