House, 2 Bedrooms + Bunk Area, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

This Spectacular home is built on top of a hill overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Beautiful landscaping. Amazing jungle and ocean views but very private. There are large populations of wildlife in the area including howler monkeys, iguanas, lizards, crabs, kotimundi, and many species of birds including parrots.

Walk to world class surfing or there are 2 other great surf spots 20 min. North & South, Marbella and Playa Guionnes.

King Bed in Master w/Ocean View, 2 sets of bunk beds with single/double combo in 2nd bedroom w/pool/jungle views. Additional single bunk beds in nook.

Large full kitchen and dining area with table that seats 12. High ceilings with ceiling fans, air conditioning, and windows all around for the cool breezes. The House feels very spacious even when there are 10 people.

Ostional, a national refuge is home to the thousands of Olive Ridley Turtles that will come ashore to bury their eggs during full moon periods. An amazing vacation experience for families or a group of friends.

What a beautifully kept secret!!!

Randy and Catherine have created an amazingly friendly and charming home on the lower hillside above Ostional Beach. House is clean, pool is wonderful, all well thought out and well kept...we needed for nothing and had a fantastic time. We really felt like it was our private beach - every day we went out exploring and visiting other local areas only to return to Ostional and wonder why we left?/! There are a couple of great restaurants very nearby, 2 small jewels of hotels whose food we really enjoyed just a few minutes north and the Ziplining was UNBELIEVABLE! the surfing at Ostional was absolutley perfect for 8 straight days!!! All I can say is pack lighly, take your family or loved one/s and go experience the 'Pura Vida' Costa Rica is really about...

I would highly recommend this vacational rental. We spent two weeks at this beautiful home surfing with the locals, lounging by the pool, watching the sunsets and lighting storms from the front porch, listening to the monkeys from the outdoor shower and cooking fabulous feasts including lobster from San Juanillo. The owners and property manager were very helpful in answering our questions and resolving any issues we encountered.

Amazing week at La Perla!

We were very impressed with the house, it is beautiful and very functional. Everything you need is there and even more. Just a short walk from a super quiet beach with great waves to surf. Surf early in the morning and at the beautiful sunset and chill around the pool during the day. What more can you ask for! For those who like to dine out, I recommend the restaurant Luna Azul which is about a 15 minutes drive from there. It was an overall great experience and I strongly recommend it. We'll be back for sure!

Awesome place!

Peace and quiet, security, privacy, the wildlife and the watching amazing sunsets in the living room are what I love about this place. Hearing the monkeys talk every morning and never hearing or seeing neighbors or traffic (equals no dust!!) but close enough to restaurants/bars and towns for shopping is exactly what I expect for rest and relaxation and I get it here... feels like home.

The big kitchen, massive dining table and pool always work overtime during our stays here. Not to mention the fact that the surrounding hillsides funnel any type of breeze into the house allows us to exist without AC. And I love the beach and wave that I can walk to for surf or strolls along the beach... no car or ATV needed like so many other hilltop vacation homes require. Doesn't get any better than this in Costa Rica unless your looking for a resort setting with partying and noise. ;)

Thanks Randy and Catherine, you guys have created an awesome place... We will continue to come back here!

PS- Thanks for adding the wifi! I can stay connected to the world (to my girlfriends dismay) without ever leaving the house.

Luxury in the jungle

Spent 2 weeks here and thoroughly enjoyed the area. Monkeys, iguanas, geckos, turtles, birds, surf, great European influenced food, friendly locals. Can't wait to go back.
