You have over half a mile of private, pristine nature trails winding along unblemished Oak Creek. Bald eagles, fish eagles, deer, giant blue herons, foxes, mallards, large mouth black bass, bluegill, and trout are but a handful of your neighbors. Just twenty five minutes to unlimited hiking trails through the majestic red rocks and Oak Creek Canyon. Come enjoy this peaceful, serene retreat from all of life’s tension and worries. Very rustic, yet high tech and elegant cottage. Your domicile is decorated with priceless original paintings, bronzes and pottery. This cottage was conceived and constructed in the summer and fall of 2008, and finally completed in December with the charm of the old west and the comfort of Park Avenue. R&R and Close to Fun

What a great place to unwind! Chris showed us around this spotless cabin, then let us enjoy it all in peace and quiet. The property is so restful. We fished, walked in the woods, watched a beaver working on his den, spotted many bird species, and got back to nature. This location is perfect for anyone who wants to get away from it all, yet is close enough to city life if you want to stay busy. The kitchen has everything if you want to go nowhere and fix your own meals, or go out to eat at some great restaurants (the hosts have a nice suggestion list). Read in the sun on the unique patios, or go shopping, visit art galleries, take the jeep and/or horseback tours. Walk the nature trail on the property, or enjoy super hiking among the red rocks in Oak Creek Canyon. There are wildlife viewing areas and fish hatcheries right down the road, and vinyards with daily wine tastings and local wines for sale. We did it all and plan on returning to do it again. Many thanks to Chris and Annie for sharing this with us.

It Really Is a Piece Of Heaven

If you do not stay in this beautiful cottage, you will be missing out on a wonderful and unique experience. We decided from now on, this is the only way we want to travel. This brand new cottage really has everything you need & more. There is a new deck with a great view to watch the sunsets. The kitchen was stocked with every tool & appliance needed. The large flat screen TV was fun. We did not use the fire pit outside or the hot tub, but they looked very inviting. The collection of artwork was definitely an added bonus. Great shower, plenty of closet space & a comfy bed. We used the outdoor BBQ twice & it worked great.The location is fantastic because it is close enough to everything, but still far enough away as well. Chris & Anne are super nice & gave us very helpful reccomendations about the area. We saw wild javelina & deer right on the property! It was a nice feeling to come "home" after a long day in the heat & just relax.

RELAXING IN BEAUTY

Almost everything was exactly what I wanted. I wanted to get away from the bussle and heat of Tucson and relax with my family. That is exactly what we wanted and needed. The property was beautiful, the cottage was imaculate and the weather was heaven to the scorching heat of Tucson. Bed was comfortable, unlike hotel beds, nice change of pace. The only one problem is had was the A/C didn't seem to cool the entire cottage. Room was cool enough to sleep but I couldn't stand the heat of the kitchen! Haha. Other than that----LOVED IT!

Beautiful, peaceful paradise

What a beautiful place!!! The spacious cottage is brand new and so very comfortable! We had everythig we needed and more. The scenery all around us and the nature walks along the river were amazing! The cottage's private patio overlooks a fruit orchid and hillside rock formation, and was a peaceful place to enjoy my book and a cup of coffee. There is another stone patio off the kitchen where we enjoyed our breakfast. We had every convenience, everything was clean and the hosts, Chris (who you will recognize from TV!) and Annie, were very nice. We enjoyed browsing though the little village of art galleries also found on this large property. It is very convenient to all the fun things to do in the area.... an easy 15 minute drive into Sedona, or the 'ghost town' of Jerome. There is also a winery to tour just down the road. I could go on and on about how much we enjoyed staying here...we plan on returning often and would highly reccommend this beautiful paradise to everyone!
