CASA BONITA - OCEAN FRONT HOUSE - SHACKS BEACH - 2 APTS

Many thanks to the wonderful owner for this piece of paradise in Puerto Rico.

Myself and my husband, along with a family of some very close friends joined us on our trip. The combination of two apartments allowed us to share not only our own privacy but days and evenings of fun together.

The photos on the listing are very accurate. The kitchens in both units are well stocked with what you would need to prepare a fantastic breakfast, lunch or dinner.

The beach is amazing for snorkeling which some of our party enjoyed. For those of you who enjoy watching activities of sports on the beach, you won't want to miss this. There is an array of sports performances on this beach that range from from kite surfing to paddle boarding, snorkeling and surfing.

The grounds are well manicured as well as the property.

A car rental is a plus as there are so many day trips to take and so many things to see. Don't worry about getting lost on a back road, as each one has its special meaning of beauty of this part of the island.

We thoroughly enjoyed the two weeks we were there. The owners are fantastic and so easy to work with which makes traveling here a special treasure.

We enjoyed our week at Casa Bonita. The pool was great, the rooms were spotless. The kitchen was well-stocked. We got some fish and cooked them on the grill. The grill is handy, right outside on the porch.... plenty of "tools" for the grill to make the job easy. Having the washer and dryer is nice, too, since we did have some clothes that we wanted washed while we were there. The view was amazing! We enjoyed just sitting and relaxing in the chairs overlooking the beach. We also enjoyed having coffee out there in the early morning, and just watching the sun come up. We snorkled the blue hole, and saw some incredible fish and other sea life. I wish we had found the game drawer earlier; there were lots of things we could have taken advantage of (dominoes, etc). We would recommend Larry's place to anyone who wants a nice beach-side, WITH POOL, place to stay in Aguadilla.

My family and a were referred to Casa Bonita by friends that have been to Playa Shacks area in the past. I quickly hopped on the website and was thrilled to see the beautiful photos of Casa Bonita. As a Sales Executive for a Five Diamond hotel, I am (admittingly) a bit jaded in terms of travel, accommodations, and hospitality. Casa Bonita was amazing! We rented the two bedroom until for 8 days and were extremely happy with the decor and the cleanliness of the unit. The pool and patio area are heavenly, and the beach below was fantastic (and very clean). All of the physical beauty pales in comparison to the genuine and gracious hospitality we received by Larry and Margie. They were a wealth of information on the area, the surf spots, places to eat, beaches to vist.... They were so warm and welcoming and we really felt they were truly happy to share their beautiful home with us. We loved every minute of every day -- and will definitley be back! If you have the opportunity to get to this part of PR I would highly recommend staying at Casa Bonita.
