The owner has put a considerable amount of time ,money and effort into the landscaping of the home and many weddings have taken place in the gorgeous backyard. This is a corner lot 2 Blocks from the ocean and walking distance to downtown Folly restaurants, pier, shops, etc. Beautiful, fully mature landscaping. Large fenced-in back yard with dog door into home. Gigantic, covered screened porch with seating area and dining table - great for gathering / group dining. Bamboo Floors, Concrete Counter Tops, Heated tile floor in master bath, vaulted beadboard ceilings, full masonry fireplace, large sundeck - great for BBQ'ing.
Quiet, Low Traffic Location on Folly Beach: This Home is in a low traffic, quiet part of Folly Beach, yet is within a 5 minute walking distance of all Center Street activities, pier, shopping, etc. The beach is a straight shot - 2 blocks from the house. This corner lot home is great for entertaining.
Beach Activities: Surf at the best spot in over 100 miles up or down the East Coast - The Washout - just 8 blocks from the house.
Rent Jet Ski's by the Pier, fish from the Pier, eat at Locklear's on the pier or rent beach cruiser bicycles and check out the county park or the old coast guard station.
The fact that this home really felt like "home" was great during the foul weather we had the first half of our week. The location is great and just an easy 20 minute ride to Charleston. The house is super comfortable and very spacious. Our only complaint is that we had to leave. We are looking forward to our next stay!!
This would be a wonderful place to live! So sad to leave after a two week stay. This home is solidly built, well maintained, and located in a beautiful setting. The property managers were quick to respond and very helpful with useful information.

The home was spotless and comfortable!
We enjoyed the screened porch and mostly the outside sprinkle hose for hosing down after the beach.
I was able to take beautiful photos of my daughters wedding party on the stairs and landing windows. The porch was wonderful to make her bridal bouquets and table arrangements.
The oven was the perfect size for the wedding cake.
This was hands down the best vacation ever! We enjoyed the openness and brightness of your home. The neighbors were also so friendly and kind!

We used this lovely and charming house for a ladies beach getaway. We were impressed by the beauty and warmth of this home. It was spacious and stocked with all the things we would need. It was also very clean. We thoroughly enjoyed the lazy mornings on the screened in porch--what a delight! The beach was a two minute walk. We often walked to town or did a quick drive to Charleston for dinner. We would definitely stay here again!
We had originally rented a different home but it became unavailable prior to our stay and this was presented as an alternative. I think it must have been serendipitous, because wow, what a wonderful home! This was our first ever trip to Folly Beach and I wish we could have stayed longer, in part because this house was perfect for us. It was spotless and had everything we needed, including a well-stocked kitchen, ample living space, beautiful bathrooms (heated tile in the master!), thoughtful instructions and great recommendations in the guest binder, a nicely landscaped fenced-in backyard, and a lovely screened porch. Loved the open floor plan downstairs and the layout of the bedrooms upstairs, not to mention the home's location was great for us (we wanted something that was not too close to the main thoroughfare) and it was a very short walk to the beach. Also, we were so appreciative that this stellar home is pet friendly as we travel with our four-legged children. Finally, the property management company was professional and extremely helpful in all aspects, and that gave us a good feeling from the start that we would enjoy our stay. I would most certainly recommend this property to my family and friends and hope to stay here again.
Just returned from a great family vacation in this fantastic home! My sister and her husband own a place on James Island so the family decided on this location for a beach trip. The house has a perfect spot close to the beach. There are beautiful decks, an enormous porch and lovely landscaping at every corner. The photos do not do the home justice. The home is beautiful, bright, sunny, with tall ceilings and detailed architecture. Porches are everywhere. The home is also dog friendly but (fyi) dogs are not allowed on the beach from 1000 to 6pm daily. The property owners were attentive and made the check in and out very simple. The home was immaculate upon arrival. Shops and restaurants are close- by. We had several fun dinners at Rita’s and in Charleston, also went on the recommended Gaullah Tour. The men went fishing and the ladies shopped at Folly and Charleston. We also squeezed in time for para sailing. The home fit my two sons, daughter in law and baby perfectly, with gathering place for dinners with the rest of the family on the huge porch. Will be back soon!!
Swim, surf, kite board, para-sail, sail, jog, water ski, shop, dine, dance, relax in the hammock, BBQ and enjoy the beach! 15 minutes to downtown Charleston. Take a carriage tour and enjoy the history that is unique to the South.
