This charming 3 bedroom house is a 5 minute drive to beautiful Scarborough State Beach, Roger Wheeler State Beach and Point Judith. Minutes to the Block Island Ferry. The house is located at the end of a quiet road in the private area Sunset Shores. Located across the street from the Salt Pond is lends itself to a private, peaceful atmosphere. Large, back yard can easily accommodate volley ball, badminton nets or croquet . Dock access available directly across the street. Great setting for family with children. House has 3 bedrooms. Master bedroom 4 poster queen bed, Second bedroom has twin beds and Third bedroom has twin sleigh bed. Linens and towels included. New stack-able Washer/dryer located in kitchen. Enclosed outside shower. Large Kitchen, open living room/ dining room.

Many of Rhode Island's best seafood restaurants are located in this area as well as access to the Block Island Ferry and all other Fishing and boating excursions. There are 2 casinos, Foxwoods/MGM Grand and Moheghan Sun located within 30 miles as well as Newport, RI which is a short trip by car and is home to the Newport Jazz Festival, the International Tennis Hall of Fame and Historical Mansions.

Quiet, conveniant, relaxing, affordable get-away

Convenient location in quiet, friendly neighborhood. Short drive to Scarborough and other beaches. House was clean, well-maintained and very comfortable - slept four of us with room to spare (2 adults, two teens). Great kitchen with washer/dryer - a plus! Enjoyed the deck, outdoor shower and shady backyard. Nice to return to after a long day at the beach. Very relaxing. Saw deer and rabbits on occasion. Access to dock on bay was nice - especially at low-tide (lots of cohogs). Property owner was super nice and accommodating. The transaction could not have gone easier and the rate was very affordable. Only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer. We'd definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!
