This is an extremely charming, one bedroom apartment located in a beautiful 18th century building in the heart of the 6th arrondissement in Paris. The apartment has beamed ceilings and two large windows facing the courtyard, making it extremely quiet while getting good light. There are 2 twin beds put together in the bedroom, one full bathroom with a large stall shower, sink, and toilet, and another bathroom with just a bathtub and a sink. The sofas in the living room are also quite comfortable for sleeping, so two people can sleep in separate rooms if needed. The apartment was recently renovated so the bathrooms and finishes are relatively new. There is no elevator but the apartment is located one flight up and it is an easy walk up. There is a large TV, free Wifi, DVD player, and an internet phone that provides free calls to the USA. Credit Cards accepted.

Here's why I have this apartment:: Even though everyone thought he was crazy, my father bought this apartment in Paris in 1983. It was a total wreck but in a wonderful location in a beautiful building. His French is not great but that didn't stop him. He had the apartment completely renovated. About 6 years ago, he succeeded in buying the hallway that was adjacent to our apartment and we were able to connect the two and greatly enlarge the apartment. The apartment was totally renovated again at that time. I would rather stay in this apartment than any of the great hotels in Paris. It's just a terrific experience.

amazingly central,quiet,comfortable

I've stayed in many homes away from home over the years. This property stands out in many ways:
The location couldn't be better: both close to everything (we didn't use any transportation but our feet except when coming or going from Paris) and completely private and quiet.
The owner was attentive to every question that we sent her way, providing the most clear and effective instructions I have ever seen both before and during our stay.
The bedding, linens, kitchen are simple, comfortable, clean, functional. Plumbing and appliances all work perfectly.
There is a three foot shelf of guide books and a couple feet of fiction vacation reading.
There is every possible convenience just outside the apartment door, including a laundromat!
The wireless and phone services make communication with home and around Paris as easy as they could possibly be.
This apartment is a lucky find.

Renting an apartment versus staying in a hotel is definitely the way to do Paris. My husband and I loved the location of this apartment. We were close to markets, restaurants, metro, and The Seine. We walked everywhere, and found the literature in the apartment to be quite helpful for getting around.

The layout and amenities were exactly what we wanted for the two of us. Having two bathrooms and a kitchen were a welcome treat. We could save money by eating in, and we enjoyed trying different items from the nearby markets. The heating system was wonderful for us as we are from Florida.

The owner and her assistant in Paris provided great customer service. We would most definitely stay here again.

The apartment's location was ideal, as were the layout and amenities. It was spotless, well maintained and very comfortable. It was perfect for visiting all parts of the city and convenient to several Metro stations and bus lines. There were many fine restaurants in the immediate area and a library of many, many travel books in the apartment. We would plan another stay on our next trip to Paris. The owner and her contact in Paris were extremely helpful and get nothing but rave reviews!

The apartment was aptly described from the previous vacationers and I used their comment as a guide to rent this apartment. I can only echo what has been previously written. Everything was as described and the caretaker could not have been more accomodating. We would certainly stay here again if we were in Paris

Perfect apartment, location and excellent service provided by owner

Apartment was extremely clean and well maintained. All of the amenities listed were as described. The location could not be better. I have rented several apartments in Paris, and this is by far the best. I will gladly return. The owner is accesible, and helpful in every regard. Her information on how to use the TV, phone, appliances, is so complete. It also includes taxi info, currency exchange and wifi locations. We arrived in Paris on Bastille day weekend; a national holiday and weekend when everyone takes off form work early. The light in the kitchen had gone out and we called the owner's assitant who lives and works near to the apartment. Within a few minutes she had returned our call and a few hours later had replaced the light fixture. This is quite amazing, particularly on such a weekend. Overall a perfect experience.
