La Jolla Vacation Rental house

We were looking for someplace to stay in La Jolla for the week between Xmas and New Year's, when we came upon this home. Since we have 4 kids - 3 teens and a 4-year-old, we wanted to find something that would work for everyone. This home was everything we hoped for - and more!

First, the location is perfect. It's one house behind the beach, so we were able to see, hear and taste the ocean, without actually being on the beach. (We didn't want to worry about our youngest running out to the water.)

We were also very close to the town. Virtually every morning, the teens would ride bikes into La Jolla, which has become our favorite town ever. Tons of shops, museums, restaurants, sights, you name it.

The home itself had many bedrooms with various configurations. This allowed us to mix and match, especially when the teens wanted to sleep together some nights. There were also 4 bathrooms, almost unheard of in a house this size, a real luxury!

The jacuzzi was great, the kitchen small but very useful, and the rooms spacious and comfortable. We also loved the Craftsman style of the house! What's more, everything was clean and in working order. Loved having a washer/dryer, dishwasher - even toys for the beach!

Vanessa and Jonah were also incredibly helpful and made sure that we had the best possible stay. Always available, they went out of their way at every turn.

All in all, there's nothing I would change about our stay and look forward to returning!

One more thing: In one week's time we took walks on the beach, went to Balboa Park, Legoland, Wild Animal Park and more! There was something for everyone in our family - it was probably our best vacation ever.
