This lovely home is on 2.5 acres and nestled on a quiet wooded private road. Walk out the backdoor over the foot bridge and down the forest like trail to your own private waterfront and boat dock for a swim or a paddle. We have a canoe, kayak and sailboat or you can can bring your own. The house is fully furnished just bring your own linens. Everything else you may need is already there for your use and enjoyment. Indian Lake: Indian Lake is a crystal clear 200 acre fresh water lake stocked with large and small mouth bass is truly a fisherman's haven. The lake is kept clean and quiet because there are strict access rules and limited sized motors (10HP or less) on any boats. It is great for swimming, sailing, kayaking, canoeing or just sitting back at on the private dock or at water's edge watching the magnificent sunsets.

Narragansett Beaches: Narragansett Beaches are just a quick drive down route 1. There are several wonderful beaches to chose from. Our favorite is the Narragansett Town Beach which as great waves for surfing, soft white sand perfect for sand castle building, and awarding winning lifeguards. There is also Scarboro State Beach and Roger Wheeler Beach just a little bit further down the road

Great Fishing

While the girls went to the beach or were catching some sunny rays on the private boat dock, me and the boys enjoyed some excellent fishing. The bass are monstrous in this lake and there are huge pike as well. They were biting right off the dock but we also explored the coves and island channels around the lake with the canoe. We even spotted a turtle the size of a manhole cover! If you decide to rent this house be sure to bring your fishing gear. The combo of ocean beaches and a private lake was ideal for us. Can't wait to come back next year.

A Perfect Getaway

We went to this beach house for some R&R during our vacation and we definitely got it! The house was beautiful, clean and spacious. We made use of its private dock and kayaked around the gorgeous lake. It was so calm and peaceful! It was also great to be staying in a property that is so close to everything. It was simple to get from one place to the next and never be very far from the house! I highly recommend this beach house to anyone looking for a private getaway that is still within close proximity to popular tourist sites. I would definitely stay there again if the opportunity came up!

Peaceful Seclusion

A spacious home with both wilderness and water. The birds surrounding this home are plentiful and their song just as varied. The lake is peaceful and calm with the dock tucked away in a private cove. The home is a short drive to neighboring beaches. We chose Narragansett and Scarborough as our family favorites. We drove about 20 minutes to Newport to see Cliff Walk and the regal mansion estates of some of New England's wealthiest families. Our goal was to get away from it all and with this rental, we succeeded returning home well rested.
