Built in the late 1800's, this charming Victorian has been restored and renovated. Downstairs there is an ample living room with a gas fired stove, a formal dining room with an Italian tiled fireplace,and a country kitchen. Upstairs there is a loft style family room with a large screen TV and three bedrooms. Off the kitchen is a private backyard with a deck, patio, and hot tub. This wonderful home is perfect for a family getaway or traveling couples to enjoy the beauty of the Monterey Peninsula. We are located in a quiet neighborhood near Washington Park within walking distance to everything Pacific Grove has to offer; downtown shops & restaurants, Lovers Point Park beach, the walking trail to the Aquarium & Cannery Row, and Asilomar State Beach. Carmel, Point Lobos, and Carmel Valley are all a short drive away; and the rugged beauty of Big Sur is just a little further south.

Cozy home in Pacific Grove

This home is every bit as wonderful as the photos indicate. This is our second vacation in PG, which is a most charming coastal town without the tourist throngs of Carmel. The house was exactly right for 3 couples, cozy yet roomy enough for us to spread out. The furnishings and decor make you feel at home instantly, the kitchen is very well equipped and the hot tub worked great! The owners have thoughtfully provided everything you might need to enjoy the house. Well located within walking distance to downtown, the Monarch Grove and the beach. We even walked to a high school football game one night, just following the lights and sounds--what a treat. There is a 2 car driveway and ample street parking. Check-in and out couldn't have been easier. I'm making plans for a girls' getaway in the future.

wonderful, relaxing stay

The house is charming and quaint in Pacific Grove. "House" really isn't accurate, it is a home and feels very welcoming. It is not a condo but rather a unique Victorian tailored over the years to accommodate a family which is the source of its charm. We stayed for a weekend with our daughter on break from college and the house gave us all the right amount of space and yet was was very cozy. The owners and property manager Katherine were very personable making you feel like a guest and yet once you are there the house is yours to inhabit. If you stay you also must go to the restaurant the family started -Peppers- it is lively, the locals were out in numbers and the food was great. I had swordfish fajitas.

Perfect getaway!

Some girlfriends and I stayed at this wonderful house for 2 nights last spring. It is an amazing place!! The charm and details of the house and garden make this a very memorable place to stay. We all wished it was our own home!!

The location is also perfect because it is so centrally located. We easily walked to dinner and down to the water. I would highly recommend staying here!
