Cape Charles Vacation Rental house

My husband and I stayed in this house last summer and absolutely loved it! As soon as we started down the long driveway to the house, we immediately felt like we were away from it all! The beach is a few steps away, and it was like we had our own private beach. We rarely saw anyone on any of our many walks in either direction. The sunsets were beautiful to watch from the deck or even sitting on the beach with a glass of wine. The water was clear and warm, yet refreshing, with a smooth sandy bottom, and at low tide, you can walk almost a mile out! The house itself is very nicely decorated, very clean, with a warm, cozy feel. The master bedroom faces the bay, as well as the living area, both were very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the privacy of this house, but did go into town a few nights. There are some great restaurants and a fun bar scene at night. Just ask anyone you see in town and they can tell you all the best places to go. Everyone we met was friendly, Cape Charles really does have charm. We grilled dinners on the deck, sun bathed, swam, read, and took long walks on the beach, it was like a second honeymoon! We highly recommend this house to anyone or any family looking for a private, beautiful vacation. It truly is a home away from home.
