Staying at the lake side cottage was a wonderful experience. It exceeded my expectations. It provided all and more I needed for a relaxed and quiet time. The description regarding location and layout of property were very accurate. The cottage was so clean, cozy and had everything needed for you to stay without worries of basic things needed in a home like towels, blankets, pillows, kitchen utensils, grill etc. The scenery is awsome, waking up to this fantastic view of the quiet lake from the cottage's window. All the staff is so helpful and friendly. They give you space but also are there for anything you might need.
I rowed a boat and fished for the first time in my life. The experience was incredible.
I loved the quietness and incredible beauty of the area but at the same time the ability to move around to the town Port Jervis which is very close and cozy as well.
I had some friends and my mother coming over and they loved the property as well.
Eventhought I spent most of my time resting and enjoying the quietness, there is plenty to do around. I liked that because you gives you options if you change your mind on how to spend any given day.
I recommed this property to anyone looking for quiet time, a place comfortable and cozy as well as those seeking a quiet area nearby other adventures. I would definitely go back there for another quiet vacation away from it all.
