Enjoy the property:
There is a stationery dock from the shore, and a swim float to enjoy soaking up the warm summer sun. In addition to a canoe and kayaks, there’s a mooring ready and waiting for your fishing boat, waterskiing boat, or a sailboat. When it s time to eat, dine on fresh Maine lobster at the picnic tables (seating for 12) near the campfire and enjoy the striking view down the lake, or get cozy on the cottage deck while you gaze at the spectacular sunsets.
Enjoy the town :
Highland Lake House is located just one quarter of a mile to the quintessential New England village of Bridgton. Here you’ll find amenities such as a new movie theater, library, internet cafe, coffee shop, book stores, antique shops, galleries, and boutiques, plus live music nearly every night during the summer at a local lounge. There are several convenience stores and a department store for any needs you have to enhance your stay. Just a mile away you’ll find an 18 hole golf course boasting commanding views of the area.
Enjoy our brand new lake front cottage:
The cottage was custom built in 2008 and is sited literally on the waters edge with an abundance of windows that surrounds you with views of the water and mountains including the Presidential Range and Pleasant Mountain (A.K.A. Shawnee Peak). This unique and rare setting provides for an intimate waterfront experience. The cottage has two bedrooms and two full baths on three levels and comfortably sleeps eight. The main level features an open floor plan with the kitchen, dining, and living room areas. The lake level has a ping pong table, living area, and table nook for playing board games or relaxing and walks out directly to the water's edge. The main level walks out to a covered wrap around cedar deck. Should a rain cloud arise, there are three zones of radiant heat to help you get cozy. The cottage was designed to maximize sunlight and to enjoy the incredible views down the lake.
