Bolinas has been called the “Hidden Gem”. Away from the busy public beach traffic, providing a private and relaxing beach experience. This town is a fabulous retreat for nature lovers, hikers, birdwatchers, kayaker's, beach walkers, cyclists and runners. Bolinas also has Duxbury reef, which is a great place to take the kids tide pooling and Agate Beach, which is the perfect beach location to shove off in a kayak and hold private barbecues. Families with children will appreciate the convenience of having the man-made lagoon as your back yard for swimming and kayaking. The Audubon Canyon Ranch, famous for it's Snowy Egret nesting site. Tour the Bolinas lagoon, where seals have their pups and egrets and pelicans fly. You will spot seals and many bird’s, as Bolinas Lagoon is a vital part of the Pacific Flyover for migrating birds. 0nly 40 minutes from Mill Valley and the picturesque town of Sausalito, it's an ideal location from which to explore all that the Bay Area has to offer.

Entertainment/recreation features include two televisions, a kayak, games and puzzles, loads of books an extensive CD/DVD movie library, a huge private back yard which included Volley Ball, Bocce Ball, house shoes and horse shoe pits and a very nice sturdy picnic table
