Bake on the Patio and Dock!...NOT in the Cottage! Large dock and swimming area. Mooring Buoy available for your boat. Sandy lake bottom for great swimming in clear water. Water sports are enjoyable in uncrowded Burt Lake. Excellent Inland Lake fishing for Perch, Walleye & Pike. Lake Trout and Salmon Fishing in nearby Little Traverse Bay in Petoskey. Fly fishing in nearby Maple River. Close to Petoskey and Harbor Springs for great shopping. Mackinac City and Mackinac Island are destinations within 20 minutes. Summer of 2007 brings NEW attractions/events to see & do. 50th Anniversary of the Mackinac Bridge is celebrated. Recently retired U. S. Coast Guard Cutter Mackinaw is a new museum in Mackinaw City.
