The house is perfect. It is nicely laid out with plenty of room. It is well-maintained with nice up-grades throughout. There's a deck for cooking as well as a front porch to sit and relax and watch the deer. Although comlimentary linens are provided, it is better to bring your own towels, sheets and blankets if possible. The lake area is a lot of fun, with boats, swimming, and volleyball and outdoor shuffle board. The pool is large, but crowded. There is fishing, white-water rafting and paintball nearby. Plan to drive everywhere though. Nothing is within walking distance, but most activities are within 10 minutes. Major supplies are at least 30 minutes away. The owners will answer any of your questions and give you alot of information. They even called after we arrived.
Owner's Response: After hearing about the crowded pool area, we checked with the Masthope office as we had never observed that in the years we have been vacationing here. We were told that the lake was closed to powerboats that week for repairs to the dam. Those who would be on the lake were instead at the pool.
We thank the Shuffleboard Champ for her kind words and are pleased that her family enjoyed our home.
