There are two 50' plasmas with high definition programming and the Blue Ray/DVD Players. With winter snow skiing and a 250 acre spring fed lake on-site, Masthope is truly a year round vacation location. Enjoy the equestrian center with indoor and outdoor riding trails. With the Delaware and Lackawaxen Rivers close by, fishermen and rafters alike are within minutes of recreation. Visit our new Lodge and enjoy a fabulous meal and/or beverage with a breathtaking view. The town of Hawley beckons antiquers from far and wide. The Bethel Woods Center (remember Woodstock) is forty minutes away. It is now a state of the art entertainment venue. There are many wineries tucked away in the area. Directions are available for tours.

  • OUR MASTHOPE HOME IS AVAILABLE TO RENT FOR FAMILY AND MULTI-FAMILY GROUPS ONLY.
  • • Call or e-mail for holiday week/weekend rates
    • $25 weekend to $50 weekly Community Fee covers up to eight guests
    • Additional passes (4) may be requested @ $5 per day or $25 per week each.
    • Security Deposit: $400
    • Professional cleaning fee of $95 per stay
    • Credit Card payment via PayPay accepted with verification of address.
  • We rent only to family groups. Multi-family rentals are welcome. We reserve the right to refuse rental to groups of unrelated adults as well as to persons under the age of twenty-five. Guests must register at the Property Owners office upon arrival. Although most vacationers bring their own linens and towels,we do have courtesy linens and towels available. They must be laundered,folded, and returned to their shelf prior to check-out.
    We welcome suggestions from our guests that are designed to enhance their next stay.

Notes: From the moment you enter your vacation home, you will feel the quality that went into both the construction and furnishing. First floor living room, kitchen and dining room all have hardwood floors. All bathrooms as well as the lower level bar have porcelain floors. Plumbing fixtures are Delta and shower doors are Basco. The kitchen is equipped with quality pots, pans & utensils. You will find a Cuisinart coffee maker as well as a Keurig (bring your K-Cups). Toaster, blender/food processor, and Waring Pro Waffle Maker are all available at the kitchen buffet. The Mikasa serving ware will serve 16. Both the living room and family room feature gas fireplaces with floor to ceiling stone as well as 50' plasma TV's with HD programming and Blue Ray/DVD players. Each bedroom has a flat screen television. Telephones are in each room with free nationwide long distance. You will find a Dell computer on the desk in the loft. Unrestricted wireless internet is also available.

In Addition to Skiing: You will find Blue Ray/HD-DVD players for each of the plasmas. An air hockey table, shuffleboard, as well as a dining/game table with seating for eight is close to the bar. Family board games are available. The bar has a wet sink, microwave, beverage refrigerator, theater style popcorn maker, and coffee maker. The family room is a great place for young people to get away to their own haven. A bedroom and full bath are adjacent to the family room. You will find a new propane grill on the rear deck. All utensils for grilling are in a drawer in the kitchen buffet. Deck furniture & heater were new in the spring. Woodloch Springs championship golf course is just ten minutes away. The Lodge at Woodloch spa which Forbes lists in the top ten in the US is directly across from the entrance to Woodloch Springs. For those of us of more limited means, the Masthope Fitness Center is available to our guests. Massage Therapist Lynn Trotta provides an outstanding massage for a reasonable fee.

The house is perfect. It is nicely laid out with plenty of room. It is well-maintained with nice up-grades throughout. There's a deck for cooking as well as a front porch to sit and relax and watch the deer. Although comlimentary linens are provided, it is better to bring your own towels, sheets and blankets if possible.The lake area is a lot of fun, with boats, swimming, and volleyball and outdoor shuffle board. The pool is large, but crowded. There is fishing, white-water rafting and paintball nearby. Plan to drive everywhere though. Nothing is within walking distance, but most activities are within 10 minutes. Major supplies are at least 30 minutes away. The owners will answer any of your questions and give you alot of information. They even called after we arrived.
Owner's Response: After hearing about the crowded pool area, we checked with the Masthope office as we had never observed that in the years we have been vacationing here. We were told that the lake was closed to powerboats that week for repairs to the dam. Those who would be on the lake were instead at the pool.

We thank the Shuffleboard Champ for her kind words and are pleased that her family enjoyed our home.

Simply Awesome!

You can't ask for more in a Pocono retreat. The house is spotless, luxurious, and extremely large. The owners are the most accommodating , helpful, and non-demanding of any house that my family has rented. The community is quiet, yet full of amenities, and the house is situated very close to the pool and ski lodge. In short, it was the best vacation rental that we've ever stayed in. We'll definitely be back!

This home is so beautiful that you will have to remind yourself that it is a rental. We have rented many different homes in various vacation areas through cyberrentals and found this one to be by far the nicest.

The home was extremely clean and well kept. All the bedroms were spacious and very comfortable. The kitchen was fully equiped with wonderful appliances. You will not want to leave. In addition, the owners were easy to deal with and very accommodating.

Just the Girls Weekend

My girlfriends and I spent the weekend in this gorgeous home to celebrate my 50th. The home and surrounding area are gorgeous.

We arrived Friday and relaxed while watching the deer in the back yard. After drinks and dinner at the Lodge, we returned home and enjoyed our girl talk by the fireplace.

At the owners suggestion, we spent Saturday afternoon at the Lodge at Woodloch, A Destination Spa. It was only about 10 minutes from home. We were pampered with facials, pedicures, and massages.

After returning home, we had a great dinner at Masthope's Lodge. The next morning we enjoyed the breakfast buffet while watching the skiers enjoy the slopes. A few of my girlfriends took ski lessons from a very patient trainer. After an hour or so, the graduated from the bunny slope.

We plan on renting again in the Spring with our husbands and significant others to enjoy the local golf courses. I am sure that we will have to return to the spa.

Carole and John's home was spotless. The mattresses were more comfortable than the finest hotel.

John told me that they were looking for just six to eight families to rent summer weeks and winter, fall, and spring weekends. My family will definitely be there this summer.

My family rented this beautiful house for the weekend (2/13-2/15), and our only regret was we had to live too soon. The house exceeded our expectations, and it's not just because it's very clean and spacious. It's well equipped and simply amazing. The owners are wonderful people to deal with. It was our favorite rental of all, and we're definitely coming back.
