There is plenty of deck furniture for your quests to enjoy paradise with you.The Sunsets are beyond words. You can walk to the beach or use the beach
front parking we provide for our five summer rentals.
The living room and kitchen are the open concept with with lots of light from
the many windows. Two bedrooms and a double futon in the living room
provides sleeping for six. The house has hardwood floors and tile in the bathroom.
The house has all the amenities that you will need for a great vacation. There is a Washer, Dryer and Dishwasher. We provide the linens for bed and bath.
Plum Island Has Much to Offer: We have miles of ocean front with beautiful beaches. The Parker River Wildlife Refuge is a wonderful place to visit
at the southern end of the Island. My favorite beach is Sandy Point or Parking lot 7. Pack a cooler and leave early for a parking space. You will find Sand dollars and other treasures.
We have three restaurants on the Island and one on the road to the Island. Two are within walking distance.
You can walk to the beach at anytime to enjoy the ocean. There is a play ground on the Island that is located at
the area we call the Point. This area of the Island is where the Merrimack River meets the Ocean. There is a dock
there when the fishing party boats leave for deep sea fishing. In the Evening boats leave for sunset cruises with
dinner. It is nice to sit there on a rock or the beach and watch the boats coming and going from the river to the Ocean.
The point is a very popular surf fishing area. Kayaks are popular in all the waterways of this area.
City of Newburyport is Ten minutes away: Newburyport has much to offer: Art Galleries, Antique Shops, Unique Shops, Many Restaurants, Summer
events, Live Theater and a Movie Theater. There is also a Boardwalk along the Merrimack River. Tied to there
dock are boats to take you whale watching, sailing, sunset cruise, Dinner and dancing cruise, Sight seeing tours,
deep sea fishing and more. Restaurants on the water front that you can eat out side on their decks and enjoy the
river activity and the Seagulls looking for a taste of your dinner. They will ask you not to feed them. There are many Parks in Newburyport with playgrounds and tennis courts. Check out the Newburyport Chamber of Commerce Web site. The former Sea Captain homes on High Street will amaze you.
Maudsley State Park is located along the Merrimack River. The train station is in Newburyport and within one
hour you can be in Boston and walk from North Station to interesting places
Coastal Cities and Towns North and South: Route 1A South brings you to many coastal towns and beautiful views as you ride down Route one to Ipswich, and
many other coastal communities that you can choose to visit. If you head north on Route 1A it is the same thing.
Portsmouth has much to offer and for a shopping day there are the outlets in Kittery Maine. Plum Island is in the
middle of many places to visit or you can just relax on this Island and enjoy the fresh air with the smell of the sea.
