PLEASE CHECK THE CALENDAR BELOW FOR AVAILABILITY. ALL PERSONS MUST BE 25 YEARS OR OLDER. SORRY, WE CANNOT ACCOMMODATE CHILDREN. Located just three blocks from the French Quarter on Pauger Street, this Creole cottage, built in 1829 has a total of four SPACIOUS rooms. A feature of Creole cottages is that there are NO HALLWAYS, and all rooms are connected. We are gay-owned, straight friendly. The first room is a desk, a queen sleeper sofa, chairs, CD stereo system, original heart pine flooring and a thick, soft wool rug. The second room is the large bedroom with a king-size canopy bed, armoire, bedside tables, tall chest of drawers, flatscreen TV, and wool rug. The third room features a round dining table/chairs, the PC (with WIFI) and a large, comfortable chaise. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, coffeemaker, microwave, cookware and utensils. The bathroom offers a tiled shower and 800 gram Turkish towels. RATES BELOW

My husband and I just returned from an incredibly relaxing vacation in New Orleans, with our "home away" being this beautifully appointed Creole cottage. Great care and thought was obviously put into the accommodations by our gracious hosts...no detail was overlooked, from the ironing board/iron to the French Quarter maps and tour books. The bedding was just as described...super comfy! We were warmly welcomed and always knew we had someone to call if we needed it, but were not disturbed either. Thanks guys!!

Wonderful hosts, exquisite cottage

A friend and I decided to meet up in NO for our reunion weekend. It was our first time in NO. The cottage is quaint, beautifuly decorated and in a safe area. Ron and Mark thought of everything, Ron even took the time to print out maps for us and tell us the in's and out's of the area. We were able to walk to the French Quarter, good restaurants and coffee shops. Thanks Ron and Mark! We will look you up on our return to your fun city!

They loved it!! Walked in the door and I got phone calls right away about how incredible the place was. The location was great - they truly enjoyed themselves. When I was dealing with the owners prior to renting this place they couldn't have been nicer - made the whole experience very easy. Maybe next time my husband and I can go~~

As Tina Turner would say, "You're simply the best. Better than all the rest..." You guys nailed it. This place is awesome. Nothing was missed. The cottage is a short walk to the quarter. Lots of restaurants deliver so if you are tired after a long day, Ron and Mark will give you some suggestions. You can kick back and relax to their great collection of music.

Some of our highlights were: Pearl River Eco Tour in Slidell. Capt. Neil gives a fun tour. Stop for lunch at Turtle Landing Cafe on Hwy 60 E. A dive, but a NICE dive. Eat outside on the swamp.
Mulate's for great food, music and dance. Try the blackened catfish and fried gator.
WWll Museum. Need I say more?
Laura and Oak Alley Plantations in Vacherie. Stop for a meal at B&C Seafood and Cajun. The owner will even show you how to eat the crawfish. Lots of good stuff to take back to the cottage.

We chose New Orleans to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary not knowing any one. We left with great memories and 2 new wonderful friends. Ron and Mark. Thank you both for everything. When you get back to San Francisco look us up. We know a couple of great places to take you to lunch.

My husband and I stayed at Ron & Mark's lovely creole cottage for 2 1/2 weeks last winter and we had an absolutely fantastic time. The accommodations are delightful, the amenities are perfect and Ron & Mark are the most gracious hosts. The cottage is in a wonderful neighborhood, close to the French Quarter, the Charles Street trolly and to all the great jazz clubs on Frenchmen Street. I've been to New Orleans many times and this cottage was my favorite place to stay, It fun to ' live like a local outside the french Quarter.' Stay here, it a great experience!
