Our luxury log cabin has just been remodeled with new appliances & furnishings. Conveniently located between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge (less than 2 miles off the parkway)on well-maintained roads. The gentle drive to our authentic log cabin will be easy on your nerves as well as your vehicle. Situated on a beautiful lot with plenty of trees and open space, Lacey's Place is high enough in the mountains to offer a spectacular view of the Smoky Mountains. Cable TV, with local channels, is provided on all three TVs. Wireless high-speed Internet service (5.0) is available so you can keep in touch, as well as unlimited local and long distance calling from the cabin phone. PET FRIENDLY: Well-behaved house-trained dogs, under 25 pounds are welcome with owner approval. Other pets will be considered, just ask.

Notes: LOFT BEDROOM: The second bedroom is located in the open, spacious and romantic upstairs loft. It too, has a KING size bed with a premium top-of-the-line pillow top mattress. You can enjoy waking up in the morning to the sun filtering through the vaulted ceiling side lights as you appreciate the tree top view. Enjoy a romantic bath in the two-person jetted garden tub, or spend some time in the sitting area, reading one of the many books available from our library. A PlayStation 2, with a variety of family-friendly games is available on the 27-inch flat screen TV in the loft area. There is a half bath adjoining this bedroom.

DEN: The den has a queen size sleeper sofa with a 5' thick mattress along with two rocker recliners. You can watch your favorite shows on the 50-inch, high definition, plasma TV. This TV has a Digital Video Recorder, so you can record your favorite shows while out and about and watch them at your leisure. You can also watch free on-demand movies, high definition cable channels, listen to music, play cable video games or watch one of the movies from the DVD library available at Lacey's Place. If you prefer, you can enjoy a cup of hot chocolate as you snuggle in front of the cozy gas fire place. KITCHEN/EATING AREA: The dining table, which seats 6, is perfect for gathering the family for an evening of playing cards, board games, or to work puzzles, all available from our collection. There is also a counter bar with three bar stools. The kitchen is fully furnished with cookware and service for eight. All appliances are new and you will love the granite countertops.

There is a washer and dryer located in the kitchen area, as well. OUTSIDE/PORCH: The huge wrap around porch offers wonderful views of the mountains. You can enjoy a morning cup of coffee while swinging in the old-fashioned swing under the covered porch. Four rocking chairs are also available so you can watch the morning mist rise from the mountains. The outdoor stainless steel gas grill will impress most any chef, and the family can enjoy dining on the outdoor patio table or picnic table. The paved drive goes to a level parking area, easily large enough to accommodate three vehicles. WE LOVED IT!!!!!! We stayed for 6 days. Our kids loved the hot tub, fooz ball table and deck! We loved the beds and all the ammenities! It was stocked with everything we needed! The location is perfect..with kids...I tried to find a place in between everything, and it didn't take more than 10 minutes to get anywhere. The kids are ready to go back to "the cabin in the mountains!" Thanks for everything.

We loved everything about the cabin. The hot tub felt great, the beds were very comfortable and we loved the big TV in the living room. The kitchen was very well stocked, we had everything we needed. We loved sitting out on the porch on the swing, enjoying the view. I've stayed at a different cabin higher up in sky harbor before, but the drive up was AWFUL and the cabin was hard to find. Not so with Lacey's place. It was very refreshing to have a cabin easy to find and not a stressful drive getting in and out at all. We loved the location. We had a wonderful vacation, except for one thing - it was car show week at Pigeon Forge parkway and traffic was a nightmare. Heading back from Gatlinburg to the cabin, we were stuck on the bypass and it literally took us 90 minutes to travel 0.6 miles. We were actually worried it would take us all night to get back to the cabin ( I've never seen so may people pee'ing in the woods!). Take my advice, avoid the area during a car show!!!! Other than that, we had a great time. Thank you so much for making your cabin pet friendly. Being able to bring the whole family (our wiener/terrier mix) made it that much better. We will definitley stay at Lacey's place again. God bless!

Dear Cindy and Steve,

Enjoyed our stay--took 2 days to adjust to layed back lifestyle--but we finally did it. The cabin is everything you state it is and more. I can tell a lot of work went into remodeling.

Our boys, Sam and Joey, appreciated the porch and all the other things that Lacey had provided for them.

Thanks for making our vacation wonderful.

Hope to return in the near future.

My husband, two of our daughters, and our dog spent a week at Lacey's Place. It was absolutely wonderful! It was perfectly located to everything we wanted to do.

The cabin itself is on a very pretty lot--a yard on the side of the mountain! Who knew? The cabin was so well-stocked that we didn't need a thing except our food. My husband has been online today trying to buy a mattress like the one in the master bedroom (I'm trying to be financially realistic with him). The shower, the hot tub, the TVs, the rocking chairs--none of us wanted to leave.

Lucy (our dog) so enjoyed running around the yard and up and down the road (with supervision, of course) which is something she does not get to do at home. When we got home last night and she finally settled down and went to sleep, she apparently was dreaming about Lacey's Place: all four legs were in motion as though she was running around the yard and up and down the road. She's jumped up today every time someone heads to the door--she's ready to go back. We all are.

My husband and I stayed at Lacey's Place for a weekend away from home and kids. We loved the time we spent here - the furnishings are comfortable and inviting, the kitchen is perfectly stocked and the view was beautiful.

We enjoyed having the cabin to ourselves but we definitely plan on going back with our two boys. The upstairs loft is the perfect spot for kids to sleep and have their own area while the grown ups enjoy the downstairs.

We highly recommend Lacey's Place for a family trip or a quiet romantic trip for two.
