We invite you to come relax in one of our luxury condominiums at one of the most beautiful beaches in the Dominican Republic. Enjoy your mornings strolling along the 6 kilometers of beach just a few steps from your door and return to sip your morning coffee on your balcony overlooking the tropical garden and pool. Walk on the beach under the stars to one of the wonderful local restaurants for dinner and enjoy the clubs afterwards. Cabarete is perfect for the sports-minded crowd and those who just want the leisure of sitting in the shade or taking sun on the beach.

Why Choose Cabarete?: If you are a sports enthusiast, you will love windsurfing or kite boarding in the Cabarete Bay. Each year, in June, Cabarete hosts the world championships for kite boarding. If you haven’t tried it before, there are excellent schools right next door that will have you on the water in no time.

There is plenty other things to do with world class golfing just 40 minutes away (Playa Grande, Playa Dorado), casinos, mountain biking, surfing, and scuba diving to name a few. You can even learn to dance the Merengue, Salsa and Bachata at the dance school.

Why Choose Us? : There are lots of condominiums for rent these days, but we will make sure you get the best service possible. Others use rental management companies, but that is not true with us. We live here full time and are available to take care of any problems or needs.

We start by personally inspecting the apartment prior to your arrival and will make sure everything is cleaned to the highest standards. We stock it with starter packets of soap, napkins, paper towels, toilet paper and washer detergent. There is also hot/cold water dispenser with 2 5-gallon bottles & a bag of ice to get you started.

Next you are welcomed with a basket of local treats to enjoy while you read through our renters guide with all the information needed to get around our condo, Ocean Dream Resort and our beautiful island. You will find contact information for our favorite restaurants, stores, taxi drivers and more. We work hard to give you everything you need to make your visit as enjoyable as possible!

About Ocean Dream Rentals - Pat & Bob K

We moved to the DR in August 2006 from Colorado, USA and live here full time. We absolutely love being here yet only an hour and a half from Miami. We bought this property and lived in it while buillding our home. We really enjoyed being right on the beach and all our long walks along Cabarete Bay.

There are plenty of things to do in the area besides the beach, surfing, kite boarding, sailing and scuba. Don't forget golfing, zip-lining, spas, casino, fishing, white water rafting and more. Just touring the island is a great way to spend some time as it is quite diverse with mountains, beaches, large cities, etc. If it is not within walking distance the tour companies/taxis will pick you up right at the condo.

My new home away from home

Let me start by saying this was my fourth trip to Cabarete and it was the best ever. Simplybecause Pat and Bob made the accomadations and transportation to and from the airport an easy and comfortable experience for myself and five of my friends. We arrived at 3:30 a.m and was met by our cab driver that Pat made arrangements to pick us up which was wonderful. Both apts Pat provided for us were beautiful and emmaculately clean. Some welcome goodies were set up in the condos which we appreciated. This apt is an ideal location in the heart of Caberete with just a 5 to 10 min walk to all the restaurants and stores in the area. The apt has everything you need for your comfort. All of the A.C.'s worked perfectly which was a first for me in comparison to previous condos I've stayed in Cabarete. This will be my new "home away from home" from now on when I visit Cabarete. Pat was very accessible and easy to communicate with which was wonderful. I've already recommended this condo to several people who I'm sure will be visiting. Trust me when I say for the price this is the perfect place to stay if you have a group of 3 to 6 people. Thank you Pat, for providing a beautiful condo and a pleasurable stay.

Wonderful Trip

My kids and I had a wonderful time in the Dominican, and we could not have been more pleased with Bob and Pat`s condo. It is modern , comfortable and was spotlessly clean the maid even came midweek for a quick clean up! Bob and Pat go out of there way to make things easy for you and provided us with pickup and even stopped at the grocery store with us! Condo location is great just a minute or two from the beautiful beach and a short walk to restaurants and shops. Caberete is a small town but suited us perfectly, meals were excellent at the restaurants and reasonably priced, would highy recommend the condo and would go back again!

Break from the Big City

Ocean Dreams was more than we expected. The condo was clean, spacious, well-appointed and located perfectly within the hamlet of Cabarete. Our children loved having the beach and pool within a few steps of our door, and both were clean and well maintained. Cabarete center, with abundant restaurants, bars, and all sorts of shopping possibilities, was only a few minute's walk down the beach. There are some shops and restaurants just outside the complex where you can get great Mexican and Indian food. We felt safe and secure on the beach, in town and certainly inside the complex. The beach is spectacular and provided my children with hours of entertainment.
We Loved our stay in Cabarete, we will return !

Amazing month in Cabarete!

Pat and Bob met us at the airport, exchanged dollars for pesos, and stopped for groceries in Sousa on the way to the condo, with advice on prices and what to buy. All very much appreciated. Pat was exceptional in her attention to our every need, from replacing a hairdryer to checking in to ensure all was well.
The condo was exactly as described and was soon our home away from home. It was very clean with every amenity you could need and more, from comfortable beds, free wifi, lots of quality towels etc., etc. Exceeded our expectations in every way.
The location couldn’t better, just minutes to the beautiful beach, close to restaurants and bars as well as small grocery stores which carried anything we needed. The complex was quiet, safe and very well maintained.
We walked everywhere, including longs walks on the beach every day. The weather was amazing during our stay, overall our best vacation yet. Hope to be back next year.

The condo was perfect in many ways. Comfortable and clean furniture; excellent condition of cooking pots, pans and utensils; generous amount of towels and fast response to our needs or questions. You could not ask for better owners. It was a pleasure coming to the condo after a hard day's work on the beach to a well maintained condo and its lovely gardens and pool.
