Photos and Description of the Mochlos vacation bungalow rental

The holiday house with direct sea entrance lies in first row directly by the small fishing village Mochlos on Crete. You have a direct view onto the see, the mountains and the Mirabello bay of Crete. The house is built in German standard (no prefabricated building) with roll shops and mosquito nets. Due to the conventional building method you have always a pleasant temperature in the house. The distance to the beach is only a stone's throw and you do not need an all-wheeled vehicle either to get to our house. There are 2 bedrooms, beds with feather/spring core mattresses, wall built-in cabinets, a kitchen, Sat tv with German and international programs and two terraces. In the house there is a fire-place, and its own parking lot borders. Special fares for car hire through budget Crete. The car can be received in Heraklion/ Crete. You often still find summer temperatures on Crete until mid December. Crete is the southernmost island of Europe! Pool use.

Mochlos is a picturesque fishing town with 7 taverns, fresh fish, a bar, pizzeria and a grocery store. In the summer, one finds many painters with their paint work here. The environment is very green and surrounded by mountains. The houses is located fantastically close to Mochlos with a dream view. When you lie in the bedroom, you can see the foam crowns of the sea over above your feet.

Liebe Familie Schekahn! Der Bungalow Musuri war für uns eine Oase der Ruhe und Erholung. Man konnte sich nicht satt sehen an dem stets wechselnden Farbenspiel des Meeres. Es ist - ohne Übertreibung- das mit Abstand schönste Fleckchen der Insel. Der tägliche Spaziergang zu 'meinem' Felsen fehlt mir sehr. Der Blick auf Mochlos oder die kleine Insel oder die Gischt des Wassers auf dem Gesicht zu spüren, nichts zu hören außer dem Wellenschlag. Ihnen vielen Dank für die problemlose Abwicklung der Buchung und Ihre Informationen über das Internet. Erholsamen Urlaub mit traumhaftem Meerblick

Das Ferienhaus ist sehr gut ausgestattet und liegt in einer gepflegten Gartenanlage, absolut traumhaft ist der Meerblick von der Terasse und auch von den Schlafzimmern. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hat mit seiner Inseratbeschreibung nicht übertrieben, auch die Informationsmappe und Wegbeschreibung vom Flughafen zum Ferienhaus waren prima. Die Tavernen von Mochlos können alle uneingeschränkt empfohlen werden.
Wer sehr unternehmungslustig ist und viele Ausflüge geplant hat, sollte überdenken, dass die meisten Ziele mindestens 1Stunde Autofahrt entfernt liegen, ausser Gournia (30 min) oder Irapetra (45 min).
Das Meer in Hausnähe ist wunderschön, blau und glasklar, der Strand jedoch steinig und ohne Liegemöglichkeiten.
Alles in allem ein erholsamer, schöner und sonniger Urlaub in einer sehr gepflegten Anlage.

Ein Traum

Das Haus ist großzügig und geräumig (selten so viel Platz für unsere Garderobe gehabt) und superschlau in den Hang gebaut, sodass es in den unteren Schlafräumen immer angenehm kühl war. Die 4 möglichen Sonnen-/oder Schattenplätzchen rund ums Haus (je nach Bedarf): Balkon, Terrasse unten, Terrasse oben oder Garten wurden stets von einem Lüftchen bewegt, sodass es auch im Juli nie zu heiß wurde.
Die wunderbare Aussicht kann man nicht in Worte fassen - die muß man einfach sehen und genießen! Jeden Morgen kam übrigens ein Schäfer mit seiner Herde über die Wiesen....
Der Strand am Haus, wenn auch nur mit (Bade-)schuhen zu betreten, ist herrlich ursprünglich, es gibt wunderschöne Steine, Rollholz, Bimsstein, Strandgut etc. für mich und meine jugendlichen Söhne immer wieder ein Ort zum suchen, finden, Fischchen fangen etc. Das klare, warme Meerwasser ist ein Traum.
Wir haben vom Haus aus mit dem PKW verschiedene Ausflüge im Osten der Insel unternommen, sind aber auch gerne mal einen Tag auf unserem "Anwesen" geblieben und abends lecker und preiswert in Mochlos Essen gegangen.
Also: 100% empfehlenswert :-)

Die kleine Anlage aus 4 Bungalows und einer Villa ist herrlich ruhig in dem kleinen Fischerdörfchen Mochlos gelegen. Der Bungalow ist sehr gut ausgestattet und entspricht voll der Beschreibung. Die Gartenanlage ist sehr gut gepflegt und wunderschön anzusehen. Morgens mit Wellenrauschen aufstehen und abends dabei einschlafen!!! Herrliche Buchten laden zum Sonnen, Schnorcheln und gelegentlich auf zum Wellenreiten ein. Wenn man mit Auto mobil ist, ist auch das Einkaufen kein Problem. Der Kontakt zum Vermieter war immer sehr angenehm und hilfreich. Wer keinen Massentourismus mag, ist hier gut aufgehoben. Ruhe, Erholung und Entspannung pur sind hier garantiert. Auch für Kinder gut geeignet, jedoch nicht unbedingt der hauseigene Meereszugang.Wir kommen gerne wieder.....

Das Feriendomizil ist sehr hübsch und beinhaltet alles wünschenswerte. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit allem nützlichen ausgerüstet. Die Aussicht ab der Terrasse auf das Meer ist traumhaft. Das Meer ist sehr sauber, hat aber leider keinen Sandstrand und der Zugang ist felsig oder mit Steinen ausgelegt. Ein Sonnenbad ist nur mit gepolsteter Matte möglich und die felsige Strandpromenade ist ordentlich. Leider fehlt ein Pool zur Abkühlung bei den Häusern. Der Weg zum Meer für die Abkühlung ist doch aufwendig, auch wenn dieser nur 100 Schritte beinhaltet. Das Dorf Mochlos ist hübsch und nur von Tagestouristen besucht. Eine kleines Idyllisches Dorf wie man es sich vorstellt. Die Grundversorgung mit Lebensmitteln kann entweder durch den Mini Mini Laden in Mochlos oder mittels Auto in einem der nächstgelegenen Dörfer mit einer Fahrzeit von ca. 20 Minuten realisiert werden. Ein Lidl oder grösserer Supermarkt ist unter 40 Minuten Fahrzeit nicht erreichbar.

Auch zu unserem kleinen am Ende unseres Grundstücks und sogut wie nur von unseren Gästen benutzten Strand.
Da ein Pool direkt vor den Häusern doch relativ laut ist,und
das grosse Meerwasserpool bei unseren Nachbarn
(2 Wiesen weiter) leicht zu erreichen ist,kann man den direkten Meerzugang und -blick sowie die Gartenanlage ungestört geniessen.
