WORTH A VISIT-WATERFRONT (OCEAN) MONTSWEAG BAY, POOL TABLE, DOCK, CANOE,SLEEPS 6

What a find! Rarely do I ever get round to actually writing reviews but feel I must for this place. We stayed in Nana's Way for a week as part of our 3 week trip from the UK and it was definitely the highlight of our holiday. Within an hour we were stunned by fantastic close up views of bald eagle and osprey. There were hummingbirds at the bird feeder, frogs on the lawn, wild turkey in the woods and a seal that bobbed just off the dock at high tide (not to mention lots more wonderful birdlife!). Our six year old son loved our daily canoe trips out on the river as well as numerous games of pool. The house was immaculate and photos could never do it justice. It was fantastically clean and felt/smelt fresh and new. The owners were great in all our contact with them and the next door neighbour very friendly and helpful. The area had loads to offer (when we eventually tore ourselves away from the house!). On the day it rained we visited the excellent museum in Augusta. We walked local trails bursting with wildlife, went whale and seal watching and visited Boothbay and other nearby towns. We very much hope to come back some day soon (although we might be fighting off all our friends that we have told about it)!
