I trained as Teacher of Physical Education graduating in 1982. I taught for 4 years in London. Wanting to return to my homeland of Scotland it did not happen and I ended up working abroad as Holiday Representative for Thomson Hoilidays. It was a great experience and took me all over the world. However, after six years abroad, I decided to try to put my roots down in Scotland. I retrained as a Primary Teacher and taught for four more years. I met mey husband and had ten years of being a Full-Time Mother to my two girls. Based on my six years experience in the frontline of the tourist industry, I decided to start 'Glasgow Self Catering Apartments' with just one apartment. I now operate four apartments on the lovely south side of Glasgow and take great pride in welcoming my guests to a 'Home from Home' expereince in two of the best locations in Glasgow. I want my guests to experience the best of Glasgow and to leave with great memories of their visit. Since I started in 2007 so many of my guests have returned. Infact in 2012 over 50% of my guests were repeat bookings. So I feel confident that guests are happy with what I present....and that truly makes me happy too!
