Nice, but noisy

We spent ten days at this cottage this summer 2011. It's a beautiful cottage, right at the water's edge, with an incredible view. East Grand is a lovely, large, but well-used lake. It was disappointing to have driven 9 hours north to what we thought was going to be a quiet week by the lake, only to be buzzed by water skiiing boats while swimming during the day and woken up at night by marauding neighbors walking through the property, setting off fireworks on the adjoining shore, and playing loud music from their pontoon boats! It's a shame, and no fault of the owners- but the cottage is hardly the quiet, out of the way place it is made out to be (at least not during high season when we were there).
