This beautiful apartment is located in the heart of Isla Verde Tourist Zone very close to major hotels, fine restaurants, grocery stores and banks. You will also find the Luis Munoz Marin International Airport (SJU) and Plaza Las Americas Shopping Mall only a short drive away. The beach is only a few feet away from its doorstep. Conveniently furnished with a Queen size bed in the bedroom and a Queen size sofa bed in the living room. For your safety a security guard is on duty from 10 PM to 7 AM and access to the floors is granted by using a keyed elevator . A coin laundry is available on ground floor. Indoor one car parking with beeper access. No pets. No Smokers.
Stunning view, balcony is soaring above the ocean. Zahatiel is best host making himself available 24 hours for any kind of help; it feels as if you are the part of his family. Apartment is quite unpretentious, but has everything needed to make your stay comfortable: fully equipped kitchen with good stove, several sets of linens, a lot of towels, beach umbrella and so on.
Great location--you've basically got your own private beach in Isla Verde. The picture shows your view from the balcony. Secure parking is located below the building. Also, it's a very convenient area with stores, restaurants, car rental agencies all within walking distance. The airport is a 5-minute drive away.
The property owner, Zahatiel, was very kind and thoughtful. He picked us up & dropped us off at the airport, even though our flights were late! He showed us around the neighborhood, letting us know where the stores & restaurants were.
The apartment is equipped with everything you need to have a great time on the beach: towels, chairs, umbrella, 2 coolers, even beach toys.
We will stay here again next time we are in San Juan.
This property is clean and exactly as pictured. It is on the 3rd floor with a beautiful view from a balcony equipped with 2 chairs, a cafe table and a hammock. A lovely breeze and ocean sounds create a very relaxing and comfortable living area and balcony. A/C in the bedroom worked well. No problems with hot water. No problems with neighbors. No leaks. I would disregard the previous negative post. WiFi is available now.
Best location! This beach was our favorite in PR, and we visited a few other beaches that our tour book highlighted -- nothing compared to Isla Verde! Covered/secure parking is a bonus, as there is so much to see and explore on this beautiful island.
Annie and Zahatiel were wonderful hosts. All of the previous reviews are spot-on. They took great care of us. The condo was equipped with everything we might need for adventure and fun. No, it is not fully updated, but we don't need granite countertops to enjoy our vacation.
Finally, as budget travelers, my sister and I could not be happier. Dining in PR is a bit expensive. Having a stocked kitchen made it easy to cook breakfast and enjoy coffee each morning. We took advantage of roadside fruit stands, Pinones and Luquillo kioskos, and lichones in Guavate -- and always brought home carry-out to reheat or pack for an excursion. Hiking in El Yunque? Grab the cooler, slice up pineapple, toss in the leftover cerviche and chips, load towels and go! Hit the beach in Farjardo or Luquillo after. And, of course, keep the condo stocked with PR rum for happy hours on the beautiful balcony. Enjoy!
Before you book, make sure you ask if the hot water heater has been replaced, otherwise you're in for a stone cold shower. The 1 bedroom condo has not been updated compared to many others, in the same location, renting for the same price. Other issues were floods in living room when it rained as the ceiling leaked. You may also have to put up with stares from neighbors, as condo association does not allow rentals in the building.
Superb!! From the moment that Ani picked us up at the airport to the moment she took us back, the entire stay at this condo was much more than expected. The view from the balcony is breathtaking. The back gate opens up right into the ocean beach. The condo itself is so fully stocked with all the amenities of home. The kitchen has everything you could imagine - from pots, pans, dishes, cooking utensils, gadgets, paper towels and napkins, coffee maker, etc., etc. The closets are packed with linens, towels and such enough for a small army. The bathroom is also stocked with everything you could imagine from paper goods to toiletries. The condo reminded us our our first apartment with all the comforts of home. Ani not only picked us up at the airport, she also gave us a tour of the immediate area and took us grocery shopping at a local grocery supermarket. Everything we could possible need was within walking distance - from a Walgreens drug store, a car rental place and many restaurants with everything from typical Puerto Rican cooking to Denny's restaurant a short walk from the condo. I cannot express in words our gratitude to Ani for her welcoming hospitality. The next door neighbor Paul was more than eager to share his knowledge of Puerto Rico but also to recommend places to visit and routes to take. Overall the condo and its amenities are fantastic. Although it is not a penthouse suite at a fancy hotel we could not ask for more , its truly a place I could say is a home away from home.
My girl friends and i stayed @ this condo for seven days.First thing that impressed me was that the owner was willing to pick us @ the airport and bring us to the condo. The condo was nice and clean.Very secure place. The views are tremendous.A few steps to the beach and clear water. The condo had everything, plenty of towels.bedding,Chairs for the beach, coolers and many other things. The first day there we loss power due to a broken transformer nearby. There were plenty of candles so we made the best of the situation and with drinks and music we were good. The owner check on us a few times to let us know that the situation was taken care of.A few hours later we got the power back.Location...location...location,near everything, restaurants, night life, casino and etc..etc.We felt secure walking to the nearby places. We took a bus to THE OLD SAN JUAN for 75 cents the ride...what a bargain!!!.My friends and I enjoyed our vacation very much....and recommend this place to anybody. If like dancing make sure go to EL SAN JUAN HOTEL.Very lively there. The condo was just like the pictures show.We already planning to go back next year....
