This breathtaking property is perfect for memorable family gatherings, weddings and activities such as fly fishing retreats.

If you can pull yourself away, there are several quaint local towns (Callicoon, Narrowsburg and Jeffersonville, NY) or (Damascus and Tyler Hill, PA) within a 10 minute drive for antiques, groceries, farmers markets, boutiques, golfing, tennis, canoeing, kayaking, skiing, snow shoe, sleigh riding, bowling, movie theater, Fort Delaware, fine dining and The Bethel Woods Arts Center (original Woodstock site) featuring well know performances.

Activities are limitless! Hiking, biking, horseback riding, swimming, playgrounds, and true Fly Fishing waters (Guides available). The most difficult part of your stay will be leaving paradise.

About David and Desiree

David and Desiree grew up locally both connected to family farms and continue to raise their family and farm in Damascus. They co-own and direct several well established specialty manufacturing and related service companies associated with television, film, corporate, public spaces and museums.

We both wandered this property as teenagers not together but separately. Ironically, after marriage, we had an odd opportunity to purchase this beautiful farm which was once all cornfields as we remember back when we were kids and now lush hay fields. We still walk the land reminiscing with each other how special it was for both of us back then and now. It's a special moment as you continue through the gate and come around the corner...Its hard to describe.

We decided to purchase the property with dear friends of ours and constructed a magnificent custom passive solar timber frame home for them doing much of the work ourselves. Our friends since have moved out west giving us first option to keep the land intact but decided not to move into this home because our current home and stables are very special and hand crafted from a design done in high school.

When we travel with our four children, we always seek accommodations that are most like home and clean. We manage, care for and clean this home ourselves as a family, with care we would want and with the goal you will never forget your stay at Waterside. Many Guests say 'that our words and pictures can't explain this place' We take great pride in the hand craftsmanship, its cleanliness and presentation. In the winter...we even try to take time to welcome you a warm glow in the fireplace upon your arrival as we do in our own home after a long day on the road.

Waterside is a 'one of a kind' equisite hand crafted Passive Solar Timber Frame Log Home on gated 145 prestine acres with a mile of private Delaware River Front. Most guests cant imagine it until they arrive. Many of guests often tell us, 'your words pictures DO NOT do this home justice'. One guest figured out it was like having a home all by itself in the middle of the town of Hoboken along the river.

    This is a beautiful property and home. Home/Property must be left in the same condition as rented as additional cleaning fees may apply. Additional Pet Deposit is required.

    Our Home is located in a family-oriented neighborhood and is NOT suited for LOUD PARTYING groups.

    We prefer guests to be over 30 yrs old if not a family group.

    NO FIREARMS, NO FIREWORKS, NO SMOKING INDOORS...Thank You!


    We accept Bank Checks, Visa or Mastercard.
  • Please inquire about seasonal or special events, daily cleaning, things to do, guide services, pet policies/rates and additional guest policies/rates.

    BOOKING: We hold verbal / email reservations for (5) days pending $500 USD non-refundable reservation deposit which becomes security. The Rental Agreement will be forwarded for signature upon receipt of reservation deposit and must be signed and returned to complete booking. Payment of 50% is due (60) days before arrival with the balance due (30) days prior to arrival. Return of rental/security deposit is within (10) days after departure provideded home and premisis were left in staisfactory condition and deductions do not apply. Guests are fully responsible for costs of repair or replacement damages above security deposit.

My family stayed here over the Thanksgiving holiday-and we were blown away with the house and the property. Desiree was very welcoming and saw to our needs, and we all enjoyed the huge property and comfy accomodations. The town is close and has great food and easy essentials, but there was never a desire to leave. Plenty of room and more beautiful that even the pictures can show. Incredible fireplace! Kids loved the movies and of course the toy tractor. We will be back next year. Thanks D & D!

I have wanted to plan a family trip with my family, in-laws, nephews and all the dogs for about 4yrs. Finally the moment came when I found the Boyce home on Homeaway.com. It accommodated everything for everyone, which as I'm sure some know is difficult to find, plus tack on having a space for all our dogs was a job in itself to seek. So when I was able to put this together and spend 7 days in a beautiful home with all that I love, it was truly a blessing and having all the memories to hold on to, will simply be something that I will stay with me forever, or at least till next year so we can continue on in our chapters of our lives! It was wonderful, breath taking, peaceful and magical in many ways! A place to me better than a dry hotel, or an over crowed anything anywhere! Family is a blessing and Nature is a gift, so enjoy and embrace both to the fullest!

Another Great Stay!

Our second family reunion here was even better than our first one two years ago, and this house is now part of our family history. Plenty of room for all the kids and Dave and Desiree were fantastic hosts!(thanks for the visit to your place!) There are very good places to eat within 10 min drive, but the ability to sit on the deck and watch the kids run across the 100 acres, while sipping a tasty cocktail, was perfect. Beautiful house on a beautiful spot!

This is an amazing place and should not be missed-thanks again for adding the TV in the basement!

Family Reunion Paradise

Our family had a reunion at this remarkable property in late January. The house is simply gorgeous. There are so many nice touches; it felt like we were guests in an Adirondack Great Camp. The many rooms accomodated our various family groups nicely. We were able to have private areas as well as group fun in the large living room, kitchen and downstairs playroom.

Watching groups of deer feed in the hayfield that surrounds the house delighted all. We took walks along the river where we watched the ice flows and geese floating downstream. I can't wait to come back in the summer for boating and fishing!

The hosts were terrific; all the amenities were there and the house was immaculate. I would recommend this property to anyone who would like to enjoy a luxurious home in the middle of a beautiful natural landscape.

My family, parents, Brother and his family stayed here for a weekend in February 2010. We had the most amazing time together, my son has asked reapeatedly "When are we going back." This is the perfect spot to spend quality family time together. The Property is spectactular and the home beautiful, we had fun outside snowshoeing, hiking, playing in the snow and inside enjoyed games by the fire, downstairs played pool and ping-pong. The owners make you feel like family and are wonderful to deal with. A huge bonus for us was being able to bring our 2 dogs along for the weekend, made it even more special. May you enjoy and have as many memories as we did!
