Our exquisite four year old home located in South Lake Tahoe has almost 360 degree mountain views and a near wrap around porch with a built in gazebo. There are four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms and is located in a quiet neighborhood, yet close enough to the Lake, the ski resorts and the casinos. The vaulted ceilings are 20+ feet high and the windows are expansive throughout the house including five sliding glass doors for maximum mountain views. It is appointed with beautiful hardwood floors, slate floors, carpet, granite counter tops and a dream kitchen which includes all GE Profile appliances. It was designed for our large family to enjoy, and the use of a second family room upstairs allows for the kids to have their own hang out. We have furnished our home with comfortable furniture including leather sofas with recliners as well as a reclining chair and 3 flat screen TVs with DVDs. There is also an over sized two car garage that is large enough to accommodate your SUV.

There is a wonderful upstairs family room/game room with a huge deck to the outside. The floor to ceiling windows boast of tremendous views but the kids love it because of the game table, flat screen TV and built in DVD player and many games. The kids could also bring their game consoles for added fun.

The great room is warm and inviting with a fireplace to relax in front of while you sink into the leather couches or recliner chair and watch a little TV on the 42 inch flat screen. Did I mention their are more then 200 DVD's in our Movie Library? The great room has beautiful hardwood floors and slate entry ways. There are expansive windows and two sliding glass doors to access the near wrap around porch. There are also two dormers with electric windows that can be opened for summer ventilation.

The kitchen is built for the gourmet cook. It is appointed with beautifully rich maple cabinets and all GE Profile appliances including a double oven. You will find the kitchen to be fully stocked for all kinds of cooking. The huge granite island also has a breakfast bar with six bar stools so that the guest can sit and chat with the cook. My friends and I love to come here and do canning and baking and create other cuisines to bring home to our families.

This is our family home and we truly love spending time here and creating long lasting memories. We play in the snow, make snow men, sled, ski and snowboard. It is a great home for the summer too. We enjoy our time at Pope Beach or Camp Richardson or we might just go down the street to Fallen Leaf Lake. We hang out on the beach, build sand castles, or we may do some boating or fishing or crawdad collecting or perhaps some mountain bike riding on the awesome trails! In the evening, we usually BBQ and hang out in the gazebo, enjoying the wild life as we take in the moutain air or watch the kids play a fierce game of ping pong. We always have a great time and have many memories to reflect on. It is our desire for our guest to also enjoy it and make wonderful memories too. Come to our home for some rest and relaxation, you deserve it!

We do expect our guest to respect our home and take care of it. We do not allow parties or animals and there is no smoking in the house.

You can enjoy the many festivals held throughout the year, Hot August Nights Event, Historic towns of Virginia City and Placerville, live shows, concerts, fine dining, and many other activities. We are nearby everything.

  • The master bathroom is beautiful and luxurious. It has a luxurious Jacuzzi bath tub to soak in after a fun-filled day of skiing. There is a large separate shower with a seating bench and there is a double sink. Bathrooms are appointed with Travertine floors, wall and shower and granite counter tops. The upstairs bathroom has a shower/tub and double sinks, it is also appointed in Travertine and a cabinet with granite counter top. The half bath located downstairs is perfect for guest and is appointed with an old fashioned vanity and granite counter top.

  • The large master bedroom situated downstairs has a king size bed, a couch that converts to a bed and an electric fireplace. There is access to the decks from the master bedroom and you can sit in the bay window and just gaze out to the beautiful views. Or, you could snuggle up in the large bed and watch some movies on the flat screen TV and DVD player. The other three bedrooms are upstairs and each room is furnished with a king or queen size bed. Two bedrooms upstairs have their own deck, and the ceilings are very high with expansive windows and views, perfect to gaze at the stunning snow capped mountains while you sip your coffee in the morning. It is also perfect for gazing at the stars while you doze off to sleep. Each bedroom is large and provides plenty of space for your comfort. There is a queen sofa bed in the Master bedroom suitable for small children. There is also a queen air mattress and a twin fold out bed, similar to a futon and suitable for kids plus 1 pak-n-play crib

Our home is your dream vacation, it's one year new, has mountain views all around and a hot tub to soak in while watching shooting stars. It is appointed with hardwood floors, slate floors and carpet. The counter tops are all granite throughout and the island in the kitchen is huge! There are 6 bar stools at the breakfast bar and the kitchen has a double oven and a five burner gas stove. The attached garage allows you to keep your car out of the snow and is large enough to fit an SUV. The great room downstairs and the entire upstairs has huge arched ceilings, 20+ feet high. This allows you to view the breathtaking mountain views from all windows. The dining area is nestled against the expansive windows so you can see the outstanding views while you dine by candle light at the fruit-wood table with eight leather chairs. We also have a large indoor laundry room with sink and granite counter for your convenience. Our home feels like a comfortable lodge designed for rest and relaxation.

We really enjoyed our stay . Master bedroom is really big ... we loved the kitchen and also the fireplaces. Kids had a blast palying outside in the snow. I would recommend this house and surely come back again..

Fun Memories with Friends!

I am happy to write a review! Starting with the ease of reservation, working with Tammy on dates, questions about the cabin, anything! She was very pleasant to communicate with and made us feel very welcome. The house itself is great for large groups, including those of us with kids. The kids enjoyed their "own" room in the upstairs living area for movies, games, and hanging out together. All of the bedrooms are far enough away from the living room downstairs to provide a quiet place for alone time to read/relax, as needed. The kitchen is awesome and the large island in the middle has lots of space to prepare a great meal or decorate a birthday cake (like I did!). The iPod dock has a good speaker to fill the room with music and the dining table and 5-6 bar stools allow for plenty of space for people to enjoy their meals together. The hot tub is a smaller one, but it was great for 2-4 of us to sit in and relax for a while. The backyard was perfect for playing in the snow and having snowball fights - which we did!
The fireplaces in the house controlled the heat well and are very pleasant to look at and give it that "home" feeling.

I have been to this house twice in 2 months. The first time was with my family, and this last time in February was with a group of our friends. Each time, the adults slept in the bedrooms and the kids slept on mattresses in the living room and enjoyed all sleeping together. Of course, a few of the smaller kids crawled back in with their parents which works just fine since the beds are queens and kings.
We skiied at Sierra-at-Tahoe (15 min) and Kirkwood (40 min) and the slopes were great. Raley's is only 3 miles down the road and the Lake is just a bit farther.

This is a great house for a relaxing time with friends and/or family!

Great place to vacation

My family and I went to this beautiful cabin in Tahoe a few weeks ago. The Cabin and the neighborhood is absolutely beautiful. The Cabin is very clean, has everything you need in the kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms also has lots of toys and kids friendly activities. Very close to both Heavenly and Sierra. We had a great time and would love to go back again soon.

Fantastic Cozy Cabin

This cabin was so much better than any of us expected. It is gorgeous from the outside and even better on the inside. The decor was so cute just for Christmas.

The kitchen is absolutely amazing as well as the 3, yes... 3, gas fireplaces. The cabin was very clean, modern, and had everything we could have hoped for.

We will definitely be back!

Wonderful!

Wonderful home in a great location for a weekend (or weeklong) Tahoe getaway. Inside, the home was spacious, clean, exceptionally well-appointed, and very comfortable. Fireplaces that come on with the push of a button, lights on dimmer switches were some of the little things that really make this home "cozy". While it's not right on the lake, it's only a short 5-minute drive in to town, meaning that at night you get little light pollution and plenty of stars! The neighborhood is quiet with many other beautiful homes in the area, and sitting on the large wrap-around porch is truly relaxing with the large patio furniture in place. The largest Raley's grocery store I've ever seen is 5 minutes down the road - perfect for shopping to make use of the great kitchen.

I've rented homes through HomeAway and VRBO all over the world, and some show well in pictures but don't meet expectations in person. This one is NOT like that! Open the kitchen cabinets to find glasses, dishes, silverware, and cookware galore. Bathrooms have soft towels...beds are warm and comfortable. Living room furniture is great for cozying up on to watch a movie or just sit in front of a fire with a glass of wine.

All in all, this truly is a beautifully decorated, wonderful rental *home* - not just the shell of a house with some random furnishings for you to make do with during your stay. I would come back here again in a heartbeat!
