This is a privately owned Fairway Townhome situated on the 11th hole of the Bethel Inn and Country Club in the village of Bethel, Maine. Bethel is a quaint four season small town in Western Maine, in the heart of one of the best skiing, hiking, kayaking, and relaxing areas of New England. Condo has a beautiful view of local mountains and is within easy walking distance of the village of Bethel and of course the Bethel Inn and Country Club.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Pets will be considered on an individual basis and require a small deposit for extra cleaning.
  • RATES ARE GIVEN FOR 6 OCCUPANTS; THERE IS AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $25 PER PERSON PER DAY IF THERE ARE 7 OR 8 OCCUPANTS. Conversely, when there are only 2 of you, the price is reduced a bit. If you are interested in renting for an extended time--over 10 days--please contact me and we will discuss adjusted rates and policies. Since this is my own private property, it is set up for those wishing to stay a while in Bethel, and those seeking extended stays.
  • CANCELLATION/KEY POLICY: If you have sent in a deposit and have to cancel, my policy is as follows: if I can rebook the time you have reserved, then there is a full refund. Otherwise, if you cancel within 7 days of your first reservation date, there is a 50% refund. Less than seven days is a forfeit of the deposit. There is a $20 cash deposit for key(s) payable when you arrive. I will return the deposit when you turn in the keys as you leave. Thanks for understanding.

  • One bathroom is located in the hallway; the second is situated as a 'master bath'. Both are downstairs and small but comfortable. They are not handicapped accessible.

    Bedroom 2 - 2 Queen
  • There are two separate bedrooms; one has 2 queen beds and the other has 1 king which can be split into 2 twins. When the latter are put together, they are virtually seamless and very comfortable. All beds are new within the last year and on the firm side. There is also a queen sleeper sofa in the living room for a maximum of 8 people, but the condo is really more comfortable with 6 people.

Notes: Because Bethel offers so much during our seasons, I would love to have long-term renters during the Summer and Fall. I will consider pets, but would like to speak with you first. A few specifics: for safety reasons, gas grills are not allowed at the Fairway Townhomes. The townhome will be set up with basic items to get started (paper products, soap, etc.), but for extended stays, please provide your own. The fireplace is powered by natural gas. You will be located on the 11th hold of the Bethel Inn and Country Club which is very well known for the quality and beauty of the course. I will be glad to provide any answers I can about the course and the Bethel Inn's numerous facilities during all seasons.

The town of Bethel: If you have any questions about the Bethel area and what it has to offer or are searching for a different sort of lodging (more bedrooms, closer to ski areas, etc.), please feel free to ask. I live in Bethel and will be glad to give you more help and insight into enjoying life here in Western Maine! We have several very good restaurants for both casual and fine dining, our own local brew pub, a well-stocked smaller grocery store plus a natural foods store with fantastic wine selections, and some very unique arts and crafts shops which are well-known. However, please remember that we are a small town and any 'big city stuff' (big box stores or first-run stage productions:) might entail a drive, but we're lucky to have all the wonderful things that make Maine 'The way Life should be'. You can also go to Bethel's thorough and informative website by our Chamber of Commerce..

Autumn in Bethel!!: Autumn in Western Maine are fantastic for the outdoors enthusiast! We have hiking trails, canoe and kayak excursions, wonderful mountain and road biking, horseback riding, and of course golf! There are numerous Fall festivals throughout the area and of course, great agricultural fairs--Common Ground, Fryeburg, Cumberland, Oxford County--just to name a few. Just Google in Bethel, Maine and our Chamber of Commerce has a thorough website of activities in and around Bethel or please contact me if you have specific questions.

We had a wonderful week in this condo which was clean, comfortable, and attractive. The view from the deck overlooking the golf course changed each morning as September turned into October giving these Florida visitors the perfect picture of Maine with peak leaf colors.

The hostess provided great suggestions for seeing the area, from shopping in nearby historic villages and locating covered bridges, to visiting a wonderful Alpaca Farm and Store.

The condo was close enough to walk downtown for breakfast for a great cup of coffee and home baked scones or for following a trail down to a nearby stream. At night, we discovered the pleasure of dinner served in historic homes in Bethel.

The condo, with its 3 televisions, comfortable seating in front of the gas fireplace, and cozy beds with comfy pillows and extra blankets for cool nights, is the ideal place to spoil travelers! It is truly a home away from home!

Great Condo in a Great Little Maine Town!

Bethel is beautiful--close to the White Mountains; charming and quiet. This condo was perfect for our stay--although there were only 3 of us staying this time, it would be perfect for a larger group (5 or 6). We particularly enjoyed the openness of the great room/dining room/kitchen on the main floor, which opens out onto a balcony that has a view of the golf course. Also, the condo includes a washer and dryer and a full kitchen--everything we could want.

We found the condo to be clean and well-appointed. It includes cable TV and DSL. And the owners thoughtfully provide lots of books to read and brochures recommending local area restaurants and attractions.

We did not use the golf course (darn!) or most of the amenities at the nearby Bethel Inn, but we did have buffet breakfast there--very nice and convenient.

We would definitely recommend this condo, and plan to visit and stay there again!

Clean, convenient, and cozy!

I have stayed at this particular condo, in summer as well as winter and thoroughly enjoyed it-- all the amenities you need in a convenient location (ON the golf course/cross country skiing routes) and near Sunday River skiiing. Bethel is a charming little town, and this condo is just as charming! Gorgeous views!!!
