We are four couples who had the pleasure of renting this magnificent villa for 5 days for a quick golf/beach vacation. The pictures shown here simply do not do this property justice. The architecture, design, lay out, lighting, garden and art work are all quite stunning. The master suite bathroom alone is heaven. I loved it so much that Im stealing some ideas for my own! Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were and there was plenty of private space as well as gathering space. We played golf at all 3 of the nearby courses and loved them all. The owner was so very helpful and patient in making all the pre trip arrangements. She was a pleasure to deal with. We hired the private chef for breakfast each day and one special dinner. Highly recommend. And of course Miguelena was the nicest, sweetest person and so efficient. She kept the villa immaculate, freshly washed sheets and towels each day, lighting the candles before we arrived home each evening,...she kept us very happy! I dont think I went into the kitchen once even to pour myself a cup of coffee. The property manager made arrangements for an impromtu catamaran trip for all of us and it was great. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for a wonderful trip!
The villa was even more beautiful than the pictures show, and many more palm trees have been added to create an even greater sense of lushness and privacy. The services provided by the maid, gardener and manager were an added bonus, and we hired the chef for two special dinners poolside - the pool lights, lanterns and candles created a magical ambiance under the canopy of stars.
While we were there, we checked out a few other villas for a return trip and none came close to matching up. There are less expensive villas to rent, but if you can swing it, this is the best. Thank you, we will be back.
This home certainly met the objective I had in mind when I planned the trip of a lifetime to Punta Cana to celebrate my 60th birthday with family. The Villa is breathtaking and each of us - two couples, two teenagers, and a single - enjoyed separate experiences, but this home brought us together every day. We started each day with a fantastic breakfast prepared by gracious Miguelina - who always went out of her way to accommodate our needs. Vincente never let us lift a finger and kept the grounds, the golf carts, the pool, and our evening communal-the hot tub, immaculate. His smile was infectious. We had dinners prepared by Chef Federico that were better than the restaurant dinners! Plus he was extremely charming and fun. We loved the decor and the comfort of the home. We all wanted to go home and buy the exact same beds since we slept in such comfort, especially with the constant breeze lulling us to sleep and keeping us cool (also A/C available in each room). The same can be said for the lounge chairs and the pool rafts - such a treat to enjoy the best of the best. Of course we also enjoyed some of what Punta Cana had to offer: Golf at Corales (best course ever played-immaculate), the golf at the Resort La Cana course, horseback riding (twice!) and galloping along the beach, scuba diving, white sand beaches and spectacular blue colored waters, boating and snorkeling-we were out on a 42 ft. Sea Ray all day, Six Senses Spa Treatments, the New Years Eve Gala at the Club (we danced all night and met a fun local family from Santo Domingo - the Judge and her beautiful and talented teenagers), Cigar Bar at the new Westin Hotel close by, and the amazing Ecological Park with the fresh water pools. The island is one of the most beautiful in the world-(and we've travelled the world)! A word of warning - the airport is a zoo! You might also want to book some activities prior to arrival as once you are there, all you want to do is relax by the beautiful pool! Thank you to the owner, Jannifer, for all her help - she was a joy to work with - very responsive and accommodating.
Several months ago, we booked this amazing home in the Dominican Republic, and were really looking forward to our stay. About a week before we were scheduled to leave, a personal emergency arose that required us to cancel our trip entirely. The owner of the home couldn’t have been more understanding, and immediately offered to refund our money. We were blown away by this unexpected and thoughtful gesture, and know that she went above and beyond what someone else in her situation would have done. Next time we plan a vacation to the Dominican Republic, this is where we will definitely stay!
WOW is all I can say! You truly have an unbelievable place! When we pulled up to the house, our jaws dropped. And then once inside, our jaws again dropped.
It is so stunning and perfect. Literally perfect. The view of the golf course, infiniti pool, beautiful sky and palm trees with coconuts in the back yard is the first view as you walk in the front door. It got better and better as we explored the house. It is just as beautiful and clean and majestic as the pictures appear on the website.
We had a lovely time just relaxing in the beautiful home, and we had the chef come on the night of my husbands 40th birthday. That was pretty incredible. What a treat to relax in such a beautiful place, feel so comfortable and have your dinner served to you on the veranda. And having Miguelena there to take care of everything after. That was an unforgettable memory!
We also experienced the local restaurants and every single one was delicious! My favorite was Playa Blanca. Right on the beach, incredible food. Great seafood!! My 2 and 4 year old got to run on the sand afterwards without bothering the patrons and that was extra nice after a long day of travel. I would recommend any of them!
There is literally anything and everything you want to do. A highlight was walking through the Ecological Preserve and coming upon the "La Guama" lagoon. My whole family jumped off the "cliff" and swam in the pristine waters. Another great memory! My husband golfed a few times and came back a happy man! The course is picture perfect. The beaches are flawless, the resort area is fun yet laid back. Just perfect for any personality.
I am so grateful that you let us experience that slice of heaven. We can't wait to go back! We 100% recommend this place. We have truly stumbled upon a perfect gem! Thank you!
The website photos and description are very accurate, but the villa and location are even more ideal than anticipated. The open air architecture, clean decor, fresh breezes, tropical lighting, exceptional service, and location are worth the investment. You'll be renewed, relaxed, and treated like royalty! Everything you could possibly want is available at the villa, from an amazingly equipped bar and kitchen to the sound system. A group of six of us stayed at the villa. While we have great golf in Florida, the courses in Punta Cana are exceptional and the caddies great. And you must go to the spa---we had some of the best treatments we've ever experienced and while exceptional, it was also low key in its warmth and pace. Golf carts are a must as it's a fun place to explore and the resort is very large and spread out. While the night we had the chef cook a wonderful birthday dinner Domminican-style was a favorite, the restaurants are also good. We discovered that many of the wines on the various wine lists were not available so it was best to seek the advice of the wait staff. The other reviews are fun to read now that we've been there, and they are accurate as well. We only wish we had more time to take advantage of all there is to do in Punta Cana. But really, hanging out at the villa is all you really need to do....it's that great.

Golf: The world's next great golf destination with golf courses designed by all the best names in golf: P.B. Dye, Tom Fazio, Jack Nicklaus, Nick Faldo,Gary Player, Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and Pete Dye, Jr.
Villa Las Palmas is located on the 14th hole of a magnificent championship golf course designed by P.B. Dye and is the perfect complement to the resort's three miles of white-sand beaches. The course features 14 holes with breathtaking views of the sparkling Caribbean, with four holes playing directly alongside the sea. Golf Magazine is fond of the 18th at La Cana 'The grand par-5 18th is a gentle dogleg to the left that is clearly patterned after the famous 18th at Pebble Beach - the shoreline is sandier, the water bluer and the journey from tee to green is longer and more perilous.'
Nearby is a Jack Nicklaus signature course located at Cap Cana, and a 45 minute drive takes you to a spectacular cliff side course designed by Nick Faldo. A scenic 1.5 hour drive takes you to three courses at Casa de Campo, the classic Teeth of the Dog, The Links and Dye Fore.
And when you need a break from the links, there are other pleasures: The world-class Six Senses Spa, deep-sea fishing, boating, sailing, tennis, horseback rides on the beach, kite-surfing, scuba diving and snorkeling ,casinos, restaurants, merengue dancing, and just hanging out poolside or oceanside.
This is golfing paradise. Live the dream today. Make this your next golf-getaway vacation!
