Rose Cottage is a beautiful country cottage in a quiet, secluded, gated 1.5 acre, wooded property - where serene, comfortable, neat and spacious are words that instantly come to mind. The spacious rear deck is perfect for breakfast coffee in the morning and sun bathing in the afternoon. There is always a cool breeze blowing on the large, screened front porch. You can relax; watch the kids play from the rocking chairs and hammock by day, and watch the stars at night.

Pawleys Island, SC is located 24 miles (half hour by car) south of Myrtle Beach Airport - We are 10 miles north of Georgetown and 70 miles north of Charleston. Visit the two State Parks that surround the Pawleys Island area. See the area for all of it's beauty. It is an area where the natural beauty of the surroundings is breathtaking. You are within minutes to hundreds of the excellent restaurants and the Myrtle Beach nightlife. Nearby are world-class golf courses, shopping, historic homes and churches. The beautiful sculptures, botanical gardens, and zoo at Brookgreen Gardens are only a few miles north. Fifteen minutes takes you to Georgetown, half an hour to Myrtle Beach, and an hour to Charleston. For swimming, surfing, walking barefoot on the beach – Pawleys Island, Litchfield, and Huntington Beach’s are all within a 10-minute drive from Rose Cottage. (Kayaks are available to rent for $75 per week/person).

Perfect vacation home!

This cottage is everything you can ask for. Your own private lane makes you feel special right from the start. The sparkling clean house, cozy decor, beautiful porch & deck, hammock under the trees & the cool breeze from the woods transport you to the ultimate vacation state-of-mind. For a little break into reality, the cottage is equipped with internet & 2 TVs. Lee & Rosezell were wonderful homeowners. They love their house & their guests and take care of them to the best of their abilities. We were 6 people staying here and had one of the most comfortable, memorable, value-for-money vacations. Grocery store, beaches, golf courses, hammock & village boutique shops & the beautiful Brookgreen gardens all within 5-10 minutes away. Skip the expensive, crowded myrtle beach hotels, kick back & enjoy the tranquility at the Rose cottage. You cannot go wrong with this choice!

Exceptional Owners,Clean and Quiet

We could not have been more pleased with the Rose Cottage. Lee and Rosezell are exceptional owners. The house and grounds are immaculate. Property is located 10 minutes to the beach and located close to shopping and attractions. We did a lot of relaxing. Lee found us a place to get our boarding passes and luggage confirmed. Rosezell told us were the nearest medical clinic was.
We would Highly recommend Rose Cottage to anyone looking for a clean and quite place to spend a bit of downtime. We will be back.

Completely perfect and charming do not even begin to describe this property and its owners! I was a little skeptical after seeing the on line pictures of this cottage because it looked too good to be true,however, the pics do not begin to do it justice. Upon arrival, we met Lee and his wife Rosezell, they are absolutely wonderful!! They showed us where everything was located and made sure that we felt right at home before they left with instructions that if we needed anything to just call. The cottage is as charming as its owners! The driveway is lined with beautiful roses as well as other lovely shrubs and flowers. It is very private, peaceful and so comfortable. My husband, son and 5 yr old granddaughter loved the hammock and took great advantage of it! The cottage itself was totally spotless and wonderfully decorated. In the words of my granddaughter,"This house is sooo sweet! I love it!" The cottage had everything we needed and more! I will recommend it 100 times over and will never stay anywhere else as long as it is available. I can't describe the feeling you get when you first enter the property and that feeling just continues throughout the whole stay! It is a feeling of complete peace and relaxation. Lee and Rosezell are definately great examples of wonderful property owners and go out of their way to make sure you are happy. There is nothing that they could do to make the cottage better because they pretty well have everything perfected! I really appreciate all their hard work! The love and care they put into the cottage is very much reflected the first moment you lay eyes on it. They get 10 out of 5 stars from my whole family!
Owner's Response: At Rose Cottage -our very first priority is a clean and spotless living environment for every guest. When we travel, or at home - we insist on clean beds, baths, kitchen....., all living areas. We would not provide less for any of our guest.

Our goal is to make sure our guest are absolutely relaxed and comfortable with their entire stay.
