Walk up the handmade wooden stairs onto your own verandah where an outdoor table and chairs await. Slide open the screen door and enter your beautifully furnished sunny apartment. A sense of peace and privacy overcomes you. You are home. The tops of swaying palms are what you see out the screened windows. A kitchen with double sinks, stove top and an island with 2 stools to sit at or to prep food on is at your disposal. There's a couch for 2 more to sleep on or for relaxing and reading a book. A wooden dining table is ready to use. A deliciously new queen bed with 100% cotton linens awaits. Go out the other door to your private roof top terrace and watch the magnificent sunset over the jungle.

All windows are screened. A ceiling fan is there if you need it. New towels for each member of your party.

The house is 60 meters from the sea. No need to put on shoes. The white sand feels good on bare feet. There is only 2 other homes, Casa de las Palmas and brand new Casita Bonita, on the property.

Everything I wanted !!!

I was lucky enough to have just stayed 2 weeks at Casita De Las Palmitas. Perfect. The photos are exactly what you will find upon arrival. Bob & Bonnie are the worlds best host if your lucky enough to have them on-sight. Maria is their assistant and can handle any questions. I really enjoyed the 3 floor roof top patio with outdoor bed. On the beach were my own loungers and palapa. If you choose to eat out a 2 minute walk south puts you in La Zebra beach bar and restaurant. Sunday nights get you free Salsa dance classes then a live Cuban band. Note: I just signed up for dance classes when I got home.
Again, This Studio apartment was perfect but it was the kindness and friendship from Bob, Bonnie and Maria that make this the BEST place ever. 11-09-2011
