Across the Street from the Boardwalk!!! Huge 3 Bedroom 2 Bath

We actually rented your first floor unit without seeing it first, only viewing the photos. It was better than expected! Loved the space, decor, location. I would recommend this location to everyone! We appreciated the 2 parking spaces although parking off-season isn't as big a deal as in-season. Dr Ken was great. It was so nice to be greeted by the owner! The location to the boardwalk is wonderful. We will be back!

The Beachview apartments list sleeping for more persons than can be seated for a meal. If eight can sleep, there should be at least eight chairs for dining, wiith perhaps at least two more in case the pull out couches are being used or there are guests for a meal. Suggestion: since bath mats are not provided, those should be listed on the "reminders to bring" list. That makes for greater safety and less mess. Accessibility to beach and boardwalk is outstanding.

We've been staying here for the past 25 years, and have experienced multiple upgrades to the property over the years. What has kept us coming back? Location and value. Though it's an old building, it now has central air, a great kitchen (well equipped), good sized and furnished bedrooms and living room and a comfortable front porch - and is well maintained (CLEAN!). The owner is very responsive to questions; we've had no concerns that required owner intervention. (All units are nonsmoking. I wish there were some way to extend that to the front porches, cos if you've got someone in the next door unit who spends all day on the porch smoking....just hope the wind blows away from you.)

The location is great, especially if you have children 18 and under. A half block walk to the beach and boardwalk (6 beach tags have been included in the rental - wonderful). Since our family consists of only 4, and the kids are older now (27 & 22), we wondered if we should find a smaller, less expensive rental. We found that we could get a smaller place, in a less desireable location, for the same money; so we've stayed here. Usually the kids have a few friends come for a couple days here and there, sometimes my sister from Vt comes with her daughter for 4 or 5 days (last year her whole family came for a week) - there's room for the visitors.

There's plenty to do in OC: for kids - beach, minigolf, boardwalk; for adults - shopping, minigolf, nature walks. If you want to get off the beach for a day, go to the Cape May County Zoo - a very good zoo and FREE (donations accepted). Cape May itself is interesting; make sure you pick a good day and go to Sunset Beach at sunset (get there at least 30 minutes before sunset or you'll have a long walk to the beach). The sunset over the Delaware Bay is beyond spectaular. Eat at Ike's Famous Crabcakes, Spadafora's, Manco & Manco Pizza, Busch's Seafood (Sea Isle City). Not living in NJ or PA, we've also done day trips to Philly (about 1:10 away), and gotten to explore things that we otherwise wouldn't have ever gotten around to doing.
