This down-town home has recently seen some thoughtful renovations to ensure that your visit to Bar Harbor and Mount Desert Island is a pleasant one. With restored 1940s original hardwood floors as well as upgraded appliances and fixtures, this home is sure to provide you with both the old world charm of a little cottage and the comfort of today’s living. Situated only one block from the Village Green, known as the center of Bar Harbor, you will have easy access to all that Bar Harbor has to offer. Morning coffee, evening dining, village shopping, the famous Shore Path with harbor views and various excursions are all within a short stroll. In addition, our famous Acadia National Park is easily accessed by foot, bike, car, or free shuttle which leaves from the village green. The free L.L. Bean Explorer shuttle will take you to other charismatic villages of Mt. Desert Island, drop you off at various points for hiking and sightseeing, or tour you along the Park Loop Road.
