Mammoth Lakes Condo Rental Photos and Description

Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1.5 Baths, (Sleeps 2-5)

During April, we will discount our normal rental ($150-170) rate to $125/night for 3 or more nights booked, plus tax. This applies to weekends too.

Our cozy condo is a STUDIO/LOFT with a queen size bed one grade above the comfy beds the Westin uses. Our condo sleeps 2 couples most comfortably, although it can sleep 5 individuals with one sleeping on the thick mat under the staircase (where my grandson sleeps when visiting). We pay the cleaning if you stay at our condo for 3 or more nights (winter), 5 or more nights (summer). Our condo is a ground floor studio unit with an upstairs loft with a queen size bed upstairs and a couch with a full-size sleeper downstairs. There is a full bathroom upstairs, with a half bath downstairs, a small kitchen and dining area, living room with piano-finish belgian pecan laminate flooring, river-rock fireplace (ONLY wood stacked in front of our condo is for your use), and parking right in front of our unit. We have wi-fi, TV's upstairs and downstairs both on cable, a CD player, DVD players, and a docking station for your I-pod. We have a brand new hot tub for your relaxation.

COMMERCIAL AIRLINES now fly from Los Angeles, Orange County/John Wayne, San Diego, San Jose, San Francisco, and Portland to Mammoth.

There are lots of recreational adventures. The best skiing/boarding in California. Plenty of hiking opportunities, bike riding, shopping, many restaurants. Plan your world famous fishing vacation in Mammoth Lakes, the heart of the Eastern Sierras! Minutes from lakes holding 5-10 pound rainbows and browns and surrounded by streams teaming with trout, including the rare golden trout and tiger trout. Fishing season is year-round in some of our premier streams.

Be sure to enjoy the natural hot springs nearby.

We (John and Jann) enjoy visiting Mammoth for a 3 or 4 day weekend from the Placerville area. As a couple, we appreciate nature and enjoy multiple outdoor activities. Every time we visit we end up seeing new sights and having great experiences. The decorations in our condo reflect our fascination with the beauty of nature.

John Sikora purchased this condo in 2005

John has vacationed at Mammoth since the 1970's, drawn by the spectacular skiing, fishing and winter sports. But now, we both enjoy fishing and the many summer activities. Mammoth Lakes area has much to offer in outdoor recreation no matter what season it is.

The streams that flow into Mono, June and Crowley Lakes and the beautiful Lakes Basin provide exciting fishing resulting with huge trout for the dinner plate! Located closer to the condo, Agnew Meadows has catchable Golden trout. The area holds the rare Tiger trout. We also love to go biking on the paved, gravel and dirt bike trails around Mammoth and hiking on the many trails up to the breathtaking high mountain lakes. We also enjoy soaking in the warmth of the natural hot springs east of Mammoth in the evenings.

The condo is very comfortable. Love the wood burning stove in the middle. The location is great too, walking distance to Canyon Lodge. John was extremely accommodating, which we really appreciated. And you can't beat the price, especially since John will cover the cleaning crew cost with 3+ nights stay. We will definitely come back to this condo next time we are in Mammoth.

Loved the Place!

Our family of 4 stayed at the condo for the Memorial day weekend and had a great time. The place has everything what you need for a comfortable stay and very reasonably priced. It's beautifully decorated and make you feel at home. It was great to come after the day filled with different kinds of adventures: hiking, skiing, mounting biking to a place where you can totally relax. The neighborhood is very quite, so we had a nice rest after busy day. TV's and bathrooms upstairs and downstairs, Jacuzzi very close to the condo - were all big pluses. The place also had brochures about Mammoth to help us to decide with sight-seen. We highly recommend this place and we'll consider it for our future trips to Mammoth. Thank you, John, for our great vacation!

Very Nice

My wife and I stayed here May 25-29, and John, the owner, was really easy to work with, and very helpful. The condo is a great value for all that you get, and it is in a very quiet area of Mammoth. There was plenty of wood, and we were lucky to have a day of snow while we were there. You get a peek of views from the windows, which was even more fun with the snow. The condo was as described, and the photos were accurate. Definitely recommend staying here.

We love staying here and will be back for our third visit soon. It's in a super convenient location within walking distance Canyon Lodge and also close to the Village. Great little fully stocked place that's perfect for one or two couples, love that it's in a smaller complex so parking is great right out front, making for unloading so much easier! Having the nice Jacuzzi right there is very nice too after a long day on the mountain! The owners are great and are very prompt on returning inquiries. Thanks again John! As you know we will be back again soon :)

fun filled family vacation

Stayed at the cozy condo for a ski vacation with husband and almost teenage son, Had a great time skiied and snowboarded all day relaxed at the condo at night hot tubing, having home cooked meals, played music, and watched movies all with a very warm fireplace!!! Slept in and still got to the mountain early since we were right there!! Mammoth town is friendly and there is lots to do if you get to sore to ski. Checked out the local ski shops and even found all the local thrift shops that was fun. Really enjoyed our stay and John and Jan were so helpful with information of fishing and hot springs even though we couldn't tear ourselves away from the mountain. Guess we'll have to come back in the summer so we can get some fishing in. Don't forget to check out June mountain at least for one day just the ride over there is beautiful.
