Stay in one of Giants Neck Beaches original but modernized cottages and enjoy the lazy days of summer. This charming, quaint cottage overlooks an inlet where heron, seagulls and ducks play. Kayak, fish on your own or from the 'Mijoy' for the big catches, crab, swim or take in lunch at a nearby restaurant. Walk to your private beach or keep walking to Rocky Neck State Park where you can hike or bike the many trails. After a day at the beach you can relax in the yard, cook on the outdoor grill or go to nearby Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun Casinos for gambling or world class entertainment. Enjoy the Essex Steam Train, antiquing, shop at the outlet stores in Westbrook and Clinton, visit Mystic Seaport/Aquarium or just step into town for a walk on the boardwalk, movie or ice cream. Don't miss the summer fun!

My family and I had a fabulous time at this house. Simple, easy, comforable and full of happy energy. The view of the salt marsh from the back yard is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. My children and I were outside eating our Cheerios in the sunshine every morning. The kitchen had lots of handy items and the washer and dryer (a must for kiddos at the beach) washed beautifully. The beaches were lovely, clean and easy to walk too. The ice cream truck was by every night (miss that in the city!) and we the kids made lots of beach-day friends. Owner provided great instructions and was easy to get a hold of when needed. We will absolutely look to rent this property next year. Travel well!
