A fabulous place to stay!

We rented this cottage at Summer Village with our children. The location is ideal, as it is convenient to Route 1 and all the amenities of the Seacoast Area (including Wells and Ogunquit). However, for being located on Route 1, the cottage does not feel at all like there is traffic out there. The entire Village is set back and secluded from the noise of the street, so you have the best of both worlds: you have privacy from the noise and you have convenience. The Village is excellent, and our children enjoyed the pool, the tennis courts, and the trolley! The weekend movie was a big hit as well.
The cottage, however, was even better than the location and the Village. The inside is immaculate and the amenities of the cottage were such that it felt like we were at home in many ways. There was a full kitchen (with a dishwasher!), two bedrooms, a wonderful living space, a beautiful bathroom, and my favorite, a lovely three season room. The entire space was air conditioned so it was very comfortable.
All in all, we had a wonderful week, we enjoyed everything about the location and the cottage, and we are looking forward to booking another week there sometime in the future!
