Centrally located and newly furnished

This house is smack dab in the middle of the boardwalk. Only one block away (3 minute walk) from the beach. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and a grocery store which means no need to find parking. The pictures posted on the website do not do the house justice. It is a solid house that feels like it was constructed this year. New appliances and new furniture were added this year. All of the house furnishings were high quality like the granite counter tops and custom made drapes which matched the bed comforters and skirts. A very tasteful nautical theme throughout the house. The house was very clean and taken care of, everything worked. The bedrooms were on the bottom 2 floors and the kitchen, dining room and living room were on the 3rd floor with a deck off the living room and one of the 2nd floor bedrooms. You will have to walk up a couple flights of stairs even though an elevator shaft was built into the house. The driveway and garage could handle 4 cars. Two remote garage door openers and 3 sets of house keys were provided. There is also plenty of baby furnishings like a high chair and baby gate. Beach chairs and umbrellas were also supplied. A new satellite system provided a tv signal to the living room and 2 of the four bedrooms. No internet service was provided but we were able to pick up public wireless signals from the living room.
We spent a day at Busch Gardens which is a 45 minute drive and was a great hit with the kids. We also went to the Virginia Beach Aquarium which is only a 5 minute drive. We highly recommend Doc Taylor's for breakfast because of its quaint atmosphere (house converted into a morning diner). They offer 2 dollar Mimosa's and breakfast for under $7. We also highly recommend Rockefeller's for lunch or dinner because of the quality of food and location. (Rudee Inlet). Another great dinner location is Captain George's. All you can eat 5 star buffet which includes crab legs.
Overall a great experience. We were able to fit 8 people in this house easily with room for a couple more. The family is already talking about booking this place for next year.
