When you stay in Tyringham Valley it is almost like you have been transported back in time. I especially love to look out from our front terrace across the valley, toward the mountains. In the late afternoon, when the sun begins to lower, the shadows begin to lengthen, and all the trees become bold and distinct. During those times the mountain looks good enough to eat. And then the Fall Change of Color takes place and it is beyond beautiful.
During most of the day I am on a computer sitting by a desk, but when I am at home I am often outside tending the flower gardens which surround 'ValleyView'. My passion is gardening. And then this special time of the Long Shadows comes and I am captured by the natural beauty, surrounded by the relaxing birdsong and refreshed by the pure Berkshire Mountain air, and then life is all good.
