CLOSE TO DOWNTOWN PHOENIX WITH GREAT YARD AND PRIVATE POOL

Rented this house for a week in early Nov. It was perfect in every way. The beds were comfortable with TVs in every bedroom which was great for those of us who were glued to election news. Kitchen is fully equipped. Patio with pool is really nice although water too cold for us. Location is close to downtown Phoenix with easy access to all Phoenix has to offer. Nice neighborhood. Barb, the owner, is thoughtful and has prepared the place for her guests. Very clean. We would rent this house again.

WOW!!! The place was amazing. Everything is so nice and cozy it was just like being home. I have stayed at several vacation homes and this is the most comfortable we have ever been. It was close to everything and you always knew wherever you went you had a beautiful home to go back to and take a dip in the pool. And Barbara was the best. Very easy to get to know. And she had all these neat notebooks in the house where she tells you how to get around town and places to visit and eat and shop and also about her so you feel like she is family and we never even met her. Will definately stay there again if its available. My favorite part was watching the hummingbirds and lizards (geckos) from the patio. Thanks again!!

This was an incredibly comfortable home in a million dollar location (a safe, quiet, well kept, central Phoenix neighborhood with easy access to all major highways going north to Sedona and the Grand Canyon and South to Saguaro National Park, the Sonoran Desert and Tucson). The photos and description of the house were accurate but the house was actually much nicer than described. The outside was an oasis with a wonderful pool, a covered patio with plenty of seating and tables and was landscaped beautifully. There was a huge tree full of grapefruits and we had fresh squeezed juice every A.M. while watching the hummingbirds fly around the yard. The kitchen and house were fully equipped, comfortable beds, a/c, TV, wifi internet and great water pressure in the showers! The house was also clean and well maintained. We were three adults and the layout provided plenty of space and privacy when needed.The owner, Barbara, was really very easy to work with and access to the house on arrival was a breeze and just a short ride from the airport. I would highly recommend this property to anyone including family and friends who are thinking of renting a home while in the Phoenix area. The house was a five minute drive (20 minute walk) to a shopping mall with grocery stores, movie theaters, restaurants and plenty of shopping. We found a really great restaurant serving Native American Fry Bread (The Fry Bread House, 4140 N. 7th Avenue, Phoenix) located only 4 blocks from the house on 7th Avenue. The restaurant is very simple and not expensive. They serve the Fry bread with various fillings like beans and cheese and red chili meat and they also do dessert Fry Breads with chocolate, honey , etc. It's a real treat and shouldn't be missed.Another restaurant we liked was Rosita's Place (Mexican) located at 2310 E. McDowell Rd.in Phoenix. Excellent food and reasonable prices.Barbara also has a binder book at the house with info on restaurants and sightseeing attractions in the area. We all loved the house and it was a real retreat to return to after sightseeing and daytrips. Don't hesitate, rent this house because you will be very pleased and have a great time while visiting Phoenix!
