lovely condo near convention centre..

we spent a lovely week at this well maintained and immaculate 1 br 1 1/2 bath condo, conveniently located about 1 long city block north of the miami convention centre. the condo was well appointed, with cable tv and wireless internet, and a kitchen containing all the essentials for daily living. we particularly enjoyed the balcony and its lovely view across the golf course. the condo is conveniently located, a 6 block walk from the touristy lincoln road pedestrian mall, where a grand assortment of restaurants greet you. we really enjoyed the peace and quiet at the condo, a great improvement over the loud south beach hotel strip which begins to the east 10 blocks away. there is gated on - site parking, and a pool. the pool area was meticulously maintained, private and very peaceful. you will find the vrbo description and photos of this penthouse condo to be completely accurate, and the owner could not have been more helpful . i'd highly recommend this property to anyone wanting a quiet lovely spacious place to stay at the northern end a mile away from miami's famous south beach. we rented a car and were able to get groceries at the nearby shops. with a car, one can visit the everglades shark valley 30 miles away, the miami beaches, bal harbor and its shops, key biscayne, and coral gables. we were not particularly attracted to the infamous and crowded miami south beach/ collins avenue party area, fortunately located about a mile away, which is very attractive to tourists and 20 year olds looking for noise, traffic, crowds, and street parties. we'd highly recommend this condo to like minded visitors who wish to enjoy the peace and quiet rarely found at crowded hotels.
