We had a fantastic time in your apartment. It is very pleasant, ideally siuated close to most attractions in Paris and very calm and quiet despite its centric location. A real nest for Paris lovers. When we arrive, JM received us very well in a fine English and gave us lots of precious tips for the apartment and the surroundings. We felt at home almost immediately which was our idea when renting a flat rather than a cold small hotel room in Paris. We found the place extremely clean and all utilities were functioning very well including TV with US channels and the high speed internet.

Many thanks again and we will surely recommend your apartment to our friends and maybe comeback soon.

Best regards

Joanne B.

My boyfriend and I stayed in the apartment for one week over the holiday season and cannot say enough wonderful things about the apartment and about the owner Ivan. It was absolutely perfect - everything about our experience. We were in the perfect location for all the things we like to do. We were there to visit Françoise's family in and near Paris as well as to visit friends in Nice/Monaco and the Swiss Alps. It was great to return home - to Paris after each short trip. We cooked a couple of large meals in the apartment and the kitchen was perfect! We enjoyed the large tub every evening after a long day of walking in the City. Ivan was wonderful and took very good care of us. I highly recommend this apartment and Ivan's hospitality cannot be beaten.

Apartment very well situated, a bit small, but with all you need.

We were a party of four and spent 10 days in apartment. I'll start with negatives and get on with positives.
Negative: Small. Apartment is small and once you open couch and extra bed, there is little space left to move around. Ceiling is low so if you are over 185cm expect some bumping. Couch in living room is not in good shape. It won't open fully and you have to sleep with your head and feet lifted up a bit. It is not extreme, but also not ideal. Toilet has no key and also very small, so you barely fit in it. Bathroom (shower + washbasin) actually have no door, so you have to announce going to take a shower so nobody would come around. There is also no curtain so you can expect some water around the bathroom. Once we had situation with electricity in the apartment and owner whose number is written in the info-booklet was unreachable for half a day. We did reach manager and got it to work, but manager's number is not in the booklet, you got it in the e-mail, so write it down. I hope there are more blankets for the winter... we had temperatures from 6 to 20 so it was enough, but...
One thing that has nothing to do with apartment: POST office is extra bad. Lost two of letters sent to both my name and owners.
Now to the positives: Location, location, location. Location is really good. We are bunch of photographers and some of us were out every morning in the dawn to catch first sun. You simply walk to Louvre, or Concorde or Opera. Even Notre-dame is not too far. There is a booklet with useful information about shops and other points of interest in the vicinity. Apartment has kitchen appliances as stated, a bit scarce with cutlery. There is also a lift (elevator) in the building. It is so small that it can't fit two people with bags, only one + bags or two without bags. But, it works :) Small bakery is next door to the building. Bus station 100m and metro 3-400m away. For the end, neighborhood is really quiet and it seems that only a few people live in the building, which is definitely a bonus. And your windows overlook court-yard, so there is no noise from traffic. The street itself is one-way and small with only a few cars passing by.

Had a great time at the apartment. Very convenient to the Louvre for sure. Easy to walk many, many places from the apartment. We wished the courtyard had chairs and tables to sit at in the morning to have coffee or wine in the evening. One thing we really needed was a more complete "notebook" with what buses to ride where, where metros were, what specific restaurants were nearby that people enjoyed, etc., a list of phone numbers in the book including the apartment number (we had to have it to book a taxi to airport and couldn't read it on the phone itself), number of how to get ahold of the police, detailed directions for the TV (we had a lot of trouble with that), etc. There's a Starbuck's only a few blocks away that we didn't know was there for the first five days. We had a roll of toilet tissue for two women for a week and had to purchase and leave five extra rolls. Other apartments we've stayed in always had a supply of olive oil and spices instead of bare cupboards BUT all in all we had a great time and both Jean and Ivan were very helpful.
Owner's Response: Dear Linda,

Thank you very much for your review, I am glad you had a great time in my apartment and enjoyed being strategically situated near the Louvre and all main monuments of Paris.

regarding the terrace unfortunately it is not allowed to put chairs nor a table otherwise I would have done so.

I have taken into account your very constructive comments about the book guide of the flat taht needs more infos about restaurants and have taken measures on the volume of toilet paper and soap supplies.

I hope to see you soon again in Paris.

All the best

Best regards

ivan

What a great little apartment! Our family of 2 adults and 2 teenagers(from the USA) stayed here for 3 nights. It was small for the 4 of us, it is probably better suited to 3 people. But the location and price can't be beat!
It is quiet, as it is on the courtyard. And the neighborhood is nice and charming.
It is very close to everything! Many great restaurants nearby, and walking distance to the supermarket and small stores. A great bakery practically next door!

We were able to walk to the Louvre and the Metro stops. With access to the Metro so close, you really are within walking distance of everything!

All the amenities were as described. The owner was easy to work with. I would highly recommend this apartment!
