Location, location. This one BR apartment is priced very economical for the location. Just 3 blocks away is Madison Square Garden, Macy's and The Javits Convention Ctr is 1 block away. Major shopping is nearby on 34th Street. Also, two blocks away is the West Side Highway, which is very popular with joggers, cyclist, rollerblading and all activity enthusiasts. The heliport is in walking distance as well if you are interested in sightseeing by helicopter. Spacious and comfortable apartment for 3-4 person group. This apartment is very spacious which means added comfort when travelling. Why stay in a 1 room studio apartment when you can enjoy the luxury of having a large space to stretch out in. Also step out the front door and take great hotos of the Empire State Building which is located right up the road.

perfect location in the heart of midtown manhatten

Hi Everybody.

Me and my 3 friends stayed in Jon´s apartment for 4 nights. We were travelling from Germany and were very tired when we arrived. But at the time we saw the apartment the hard trip was nearly forgotton. Nice music was running, beautiful lights were on, it was warm and some cool water was in the fridge. The apartment is bigger than it appears on the pictures and even nicer. There is a separate bedroom and a nice living room with an open kitchen. The bathroom can be reached from the living room and the bedroom, so if you are travelling with more than 2 people you still don´t have any problems with that. What else is to say: the apartment has wireless internet, a TV, a DVD-Player with DVDs, books and a lot of magazines. In the kitchen is everything you need for cooking and eating at home. And best to mention is that the penn station, the empire state building, macys and a lot more is only some minutes of walk away. Accept for going downtown we never needed the subway.
We were totally happy with the apartment and we really recommend this place!

So, thank you again Jon! If we are visting NYC again, we will be glad to stay at your apartment.

Awesome position awesome apartment

With 2 adults and 2 children over 16, we relaxed in the apartment with great comfort after our days of walking the streets of fantastic NY. At no time did we feel cramped even after filling the apartment with loads of shopping bags.
The king bed was amazing and was great to sleep in after the tiresome days we endured. The apartment was very clean and having use of a computer was very helpful. Only met Jon for a short time but what a lovely man he was. He was very accommodating and pleasant to deal with. This apartment is in a great area. Plenty of shops and good restaurants nearby along with a short walk to the subway. Certainly recommend to our friends and can't wait to come back again. Thanks Jon from the aussies, Maree Jason, Jess and Matt.

Perfect Apartment.

Within 5 minutes of Penn subway station and close enough to walk to the Empire State Building.

Property was lovely and apart from a blocked bathroom sink which was fixed very quickly everything was great.

Jon was very nice and I would definately recommend this property to a friend.

Convenient, Spacioius and Comfortable

Jon’s apartment is very spacious and has everything you need. My 12-year-old son, brother and I were very comfortable. The rooms are large and light, the beds are comfortable, and the bathroom is accessible from 2 rooms. Very convenient. There’s room to put everything away and out of sight, and feel like you’re staying in a real home—not a cramped hotel room. There’s also easy access to a laundry service if you need it. The address is central and very convenient—lots of destinations in easy walking distance, and subway is very close. Was great to be able to go out, easily get home, and go out again. Jon was a great host—met us at the apartment and told us everything we needed to know. The rental has Internet and a computer—it was great to be able to search for the next thing during our trip. There’s a good deli across the street, and a few others and decent groceries close by. We’re looking forward to our next trip and will definitely be contacting Jon for a place to stay.

A place to rest some aching feet...

We were looking for a place to stay which would give us easy access to all that New York had to offer and a relaxing space to rest after walking the streets all day and I'm pleased to say that's exactly what we got. Not only that, Jon is extremely friendly and helpful and it was a pleasure having him as a landlord for the week. We had a problem when we first arrived (a problem which was due to circumstances beyond Jon's control) but Jon was prompt in resolving the issue and very apologetic for any inconvenience.

We are a family of four (2 adults, 2 children aged 9 and 12) and the apartment housed us very nicely (the fold out futon and the air bed were put to good use).

The apartment is only a short walk from Penn Station and from there you can get where ever you need to go pretty easily (a week long subway pass soon pays for itself) There is a very useful laundry next to the building and I'd recommend heading over 29th & 9th (about a 10 minute walk away) for a food market as the Deli's near the apartment are a little pricey and don't have as wide a variety. Given the choice of nearby diners (after you've spent hours on a plane and can't face cooking) the Skylight Diner on W34th is pretty good.

Altogether the apartment served us very well and if and when we return to New York we would definitely consider returning.
